Firstly, well done Master W :T:j:T:j!
Funfairprincess, wow, you have been busy - no wonder you're hank marvin!
Tiamai_d, don't think we've met but hi! Well done on the ironing.
Dorastar, hope you enjoyed your 'me time'. Hot chocolate is always a nice treat isn't it.
Triker, your recipe for the Maltesers bake sounds absolutely gorgeous - I'm going to have a go at it when DH is away on the Explorers Camp over Easter when it's just me and the kids so he can't see how much I eat!!!
Greenbee, good that you're meeting up with people from before. I don't know your circumstances of course, but true friends always show through and just forget the others.
Had a lovely afternoon in the garden with both children - down side was I cleaned out the Cube but that didn't take long, good side was they just had the best time playing together and stroking the chickens. Pip was well behaved with the chooks; as long as they don't run she won't bother them, but if they do have a sprint all I have to do is growl Pip at her and she stops in her tracks. She's only with them when I'm out obviously.

Hi Emzy, it's not a silly question! You get one star for each day you do all 3 levels (not including the extras). So do level 1 2 and 3 and a star will be yours. If you've done everything do a post saying xxxday completed in large red letters and it'll be seen by Toots.

Cycling Yorkie - How wrong is life? It's so very sad.
Sandy - Please tell us how you are doing.
After my sh1tea day yesterday a friend invited me over for a bottle of wine so my day ended much happier. DD1 was babysitting round the corner so I got a lift home with her:o.
DS1 has apologised and written a list of pledges. Most of them are pie in the sky but it shows he has remorse. I confiscated the HDMI cable for the PS3 in January when he was being a little so-and-so so I don't really have alot of ammunition in the punishment tank. DH dragged him out of bed today as he was taking DS23 and DD2 for a bike ride in the forest. He protested loudly but was forced. When I got back he was raving about how much fun it was! Teenagers what can you do!
I attended and helped at a NCT NNS today. Exhausing work but I have bought loads of bargains:D.
WM on washing all the dirty forest cycling clothes. DH is picking up DS3 from a party and nipping to Tescos to get something for dinner tonight. I can't understand it, I went yesterday and spent £70 and we have no dinner tonight!0 -
i took Tiddles to orthopaedics.. she has extreme ligament laxity.. basically she is uber-flippyfloppy lol.. she HAS to have boots not shoes forever. They want to operate on her curly toes.. he said don't bother strapping them as the podiatrist suggested as it is a waste of time as her toes are so bad  Th physio felt Tiddles had twisting of the thigh bones which is usually quite normal and outgrown BUT Tiddles has it in both her thighs and shin bones so is less likel to outgrow it so is being kept on until she is about 9 or 0 when they will decide whether to correct it surgically or not.
I have follow up in 9 months when they will decide whether or not they are doing her toes.. TBH, I think it is a waste of time and they will curly themselves up again.. but I need firther research.
When we left the hospital my mother and I took her for new boots... She had a choice of this pair or none at all.. so we got this pair and she SCREAMED like a flock of banshees, she kicked me in the stomach as i was getting her feet in them, refused to wear a coat, ran off, carried on screaming ALL the way through the village centre dragging and pulling so she has done my back in and my mothers. She had her bottom smacked in the street and my mother wrestled her into the car. She refused to keep the seatbelt on so I had to sit in the back and pin her down.
By the time we got home she was carrying on as if nothing had happened!! i was fit to murder her.. if I had been on my own I might well have just stood and cried.. but my mother would have slapped me too lol.
DS3 carried on pretty much the same when I got him new shoes earlier this week lol..
I don't know why I even bother trying to get them nice stuff that is suitable for their problems.. they are just so ungrateful!!
I now have dinner to finish.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
All fed, so what have I to do tonight?
Feed Amber and get her to bed (soon)
Dishes, bottles, S&S kitchen
Put away folded/ironed clothes
Iron the rest
Make DH a cheese and bacon toastie when he gets home from work
I may make some jam tarts in a wee... no I've no butter so I'll make scones (huge bag of scone mix, it's lush). Then DH can have a toastie, cuppa tea and a scone so won't moan about lack of dinner after work.
ETA, Pigpen, if her leg problems mean her knees touch and toes touch but heels are out, I had it and outgrew it by 8 years. I've also got the boot issue with Chris, and am currently searching the clarks website for bys boots in his size. Epic fail.0 -
I am hopeless at design because I think in words. I have some lovely sample garden plan books I could send to you that may help? .
hiya
I'm planning a new border (from scratch! so would appreciate any ideas, or suggestions for books, I'm having a heck of a job finding any!
no flying today; DH, DD & I went out for lovely lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary - 12 years!!:D
hope everyone is ok - hugs to those that need them

its nice to hear of Jacob playing outside - he will love this summer being able to be outside -I hope they have sorted the nursery place by now.
Nope.. thet haven't done a thing about it.. but I'm not having him every week.
I hoped the curtains would dye well.. soon find out I guess!!

Her feet overlap if she stands with her knees together..
Her kneecaps which should be on the front are facing each other, her feet overlap.
If she puts her ankle bones together.. she falls over.. but her feet still overlap and she has to bend and twist her knees to get them there..
Just a bunch of freaks my children!
We ended up at startrite for her boots.. They have some gorgeous boys boots in but they are pricey.. but if they are what they need what can you do!?
