Well I've just finished a mammoth planning weekend! It has taken me nearly 2 days to do 12 weeks of RE planning, because again the new topic is based around a book, and stupid DH wanted us to plan a unit on festivals around the world, in the order that they are in the book. I started off trying to find festivals that went in chronological order, but ended up going all over the place in the end, and finding it so hard to find resources, that a lot of the lessons are quite boring.
Finished the RE and remembered I hadn't done this week's literacy either, so had to do that.
I've still got all of my writing assessments to mark by Thursday, 5 childrens' maths work to mark by Wednesday as we've got moderation at our staff meeting, and I've got to write notes for the person who is taking over from me, so that she can write the reports in the summer - DH has promised these to her, without even mentioning it to me!
No flying done by me this weekend unless you count meal planning and doing the food shopping.
I'm on playground duty tomorrow, so crossing my fingers that we have assembly so that I can have a little break beforehand.
Well I'm off to make myself a wheatbag, cos I've got quite cold sitting hear for all of these hours.
Night night all,

I'm extending an open invitation for flyladies with garden inspiration to visit... as well as anyone who is up for a long walk or two between now and June 6th (I will travel if necessary!).
definitely up for that - depending where!!!

Depends which end of Herefordshire you are... but I'm at the Berkshire/Wiltshire end of Hampshire, about 45 minutes south of Oxford, so we might be able to find somewhere in between and possibly locate a few other flyladies who want to meet up (and could possibly be persuaded to join us for a walk!)0
