Yet more washing out of the TD and folded. It can't go into the airing cupboard yet as it's full...
Logs in baskets inside and plastic bin outside so no longer cluttering up utility room.
Hoovering next, then washing up so that I can get to the sink to fill the mop bucket and do the floors. Need to get the clean laundry put away tonight, so I have space for more in the airing cupboard and can do the load that's waiting plus strip the bed and do the bedding too...0 -
I couldn't do slings/carriers at all with DS - he was too big too soon and he set me off on automatic milk production if I wasn't careful...trips out had to be planned and timed and I had wet boobs for about 6 months he was so greedy. Plus I had had a section. Had a pram at first (did my two and my sister's 4) - silver cross, then a buggy for DS (new) which was not fit to be used for DD so bought a mothercare one second hand from someone at toddlers.
DS faced away and was an early and confident talker; DD faced me and couldn't talk clearly until about 4. DS thumbsucked; DD dummy which she really needed - very sucky.
Always said I'd NEVER use a dummy!
re the talking - exH said it was no wonder she couldn't talk as between me and DS she couldn't get a word in. She certainly was not talking by 22 months when she was admitted to hospital with asthma and the consulant asked if she understood when we talked to her, which she did. But if she wanted something she would just go and get it it was like having a monkey. Stairgates were removed early, and cot sides removed as she would just climb out of anything...and she never fell.
(I always...without exception, insisted on strapping in in the car and would stop the car if necessary.)
Laundry

I had an Ergo too but hated it and so did DS - he used to cry when I put him in it! I used a BabyBjorn with both of them and then went into a framed backpack sort of carrier when they got bigger and got on really well with it. I'd say always buy good quality second hand rather than be lured by all the new stuff!
Been to Church with DD this morning which was lovely, DH had DS and I did us lunch in the garden and we've got lamb shanks in the SC for tea - smells gorgeous I have to say! We're trying to potty train DS again - he asked for potty and performed :T so now it's a case of keeping on asking him if he wants a wee! Seems like only yesterday we had this with DD.
1step, result on the roast dinner tonight! I'm like you and get stiff the second day after big exercise so you're right to keep on moving.
Sandy, hope you enjoyed your HHS! I wouldn't mind one of them myself I have to say. Seem to have got in a bad habit of late to bed which is fine if you don't have to get up and do everything in the morning whilst DH snores his head off
Macpep1, good luck with the caravan - will keep my fingers crossed for you! We used to have one when I was a girl and we loved our caravan holiday so much.
Boddy, I hope that your Mum is OK x
Kazwookie, DD said she had a lovely time with you and if you want her again just let me know!
Off to mash potatoes now to go with the lamb. Think I'm annoying DS cos I asked him if he wants a wee and he said 'no Mummy, I REALLY don't!' Will leave DD in charge of the reminders ...... hmmm, could be interestingFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Back now from a lovely 7 mile walk in the Dark Peak. Legs aching after an hour of yoga last night too. A lovely day out very cold and windy along the tops and sunny later on.
Feel like the cobwebs have been blown away!
Put some washing out before I left and it is all dry now!
Off for a bath and then search out some tea. Mr Dog is curled up in his basket after barking and shrieking at sheep on the walk!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

We've been to the tip and no OH didn't leave me there.:p I managed to find some sand for Ds2 :j and i've stocked up on food, sawdust and hay for the bunnies. I may have to put the massive bags in the wendy house though because they're taking up 1/2 a worktop in the utility room and i need that space for growing stuff.
I've just peeled the veg for tea and will go and sort the chicken out in a minute. My throat seems to be getting worse i think i'm going to have to go to the Drs tomorrow if it's not better, it's been going on for too long now.0 -

Not doing too well today fly wise, am suffering form teacher's weekend, the kind of tired out, cba and lethargy with added snuffles that you get when you've been hyper busy and stressed and then just stop for the hols. Dh is away at a stag do and itchy and scratchy are determined to get everything out and play with it in the sunshine!Yet more washing out of the TD and folded. It can't go into the airing cupboard yet as it's full...

You are a human dynamo today.DS faced away and was an early and confident talker; DD faced me and couldn't talk clearly until about 4. DS thumbsucked; DD dummy which she really needed - very sucky.

Kazwookie, DD said she had a lovely time with you and if you want her again just let me know!
I enjoyed having her,:rotfl: it is the grass next week if it has dried out enough as I am on clay 'soil' if that is what you can call it. It is just a shame you are not nearer or I would love to have a little helper ~~ie some one to fetch the water!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Gammon and veg are cook, OH is still out biking, so I have turned the oven off and covered it in tin foil, just hope it does not dry out too much, or it is plenty of sauce to cover it!!
Just re set the timers on the heating clock, whislt I did the main time setting I forgot about the timers for the heating and hot water, but that is all sorted now.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
