    Bravo, Master W.

DH has slashed and burnt in the garden, well slashed anyway. (Not that kind of slash) and it is starting to look civilised.

Give it a try! I picked up own brand butter today in Mr S, DH was there and said 'I only like anchor' so I pointed out that I usually buy value/own brand unless something is on offer! But I quickly put it in the butter dish before he can see :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi Rach,

I buy the Basics butter from Sainsbugs - no difference to any other brands. I pop it in the butter dish and no one knows!

I have just phoned exH (notice he has been upgraded;)) and apprently, DS, who hasn't returned from school, is asleep on his sofa :rotfl: so, as suggested by me in devious cunning mode, he is picking up DD too then he can see her.

Tiamai - good to see you posting. Are you still juggling the business with everything else?
Dusty - self seeded frits - how lovely. I love them but I only have a few that I put in the first spring, but they have not self seeded here. The garden is just bursting into life now, so many things to look forward to.
Greenbee - is that the blank canvas finished for the garden? Have you decided on a final plan yet?
Juliejim - Hope things have calmed down for you. First day of the holiday hysteria? We are suffering too.

We have been to get passport photos done this morning - three renewals and one new one to get before we even think about paying to go away .

I need to hoover the kitchen and back hall, s&s the kitchen and empty the DW then I get on with some gardening, after I have cleared the dog deposits from the garden.

lol made sky blue pancakes as a student, which no-one wanted to eat, and Mum once made an airforce-blue iced cake which made everyone queasy:eek:
the cakes seemed to go down OK... I did warn that the blue is non-toxic but not digestible :p

for anybody that doesnt know what its about here is a link.

All signed up - I forgot we all did it together last year. Don't forget to sign up for it if you can.

Had a nice morning out - I'm not finding it as hard as I thought I would to get to know people again after a 10 year break, and they all seem to accept that I just needed the break. No one has a problem with it - so when I eventually run into the problematic people, they should be easy to spot, as they will make a big deal out if it. And I just need to be able to walk away knowing that the people who matter have forgiven me and I can keep in touch with them.

All the logs are now in from the car (they've been in the boot for a fortnight), although there is still quite a bit of junk in the boot from when it snowed, as I haven't been able to bring it in and sort it out yet.

Stairs and spare room have been hoovered, and one load of laundry is in. Need to wash the spare room floor so I can set the airers up in there, and also work out how the washing line is going to work now, as all the rugs need washing and can't go in the TD. But there are three loads of washing to be done before I get that far!

MUST get passport photos this week as I'm traveling for work in May and need to know I have a passport before anything is booked!
