  • I use a pvc apron while cooking and an old shirt of my hubby's over my clothes while cleaning or using bleach.

I work part time as a facepainter. Alot of facepainters dress very casually, but since I am often hired for events I have to dress very smart. I was going through umpteem white blouses and black trousers as the children often come at you covered in ketchup and chocolate cake and tend to wipe their hands on you! My mum bought me a burgandy coloured apron which I now wear - looks very smart, I can whip it off when I take a break and I can travel home on public transport without looking like I've had a fight with ketchup and glitter.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

I always wear my pinny.... and Baking with my girls wouldn't be half as much fun if it didn't involve the wearing of their royal pinny too!!

I bought myself a pinny on Monday. Its not something I usually use but I am a good one for wiping my hands down my trousers when cooking :o. DS got one in a set for Christmas - complete with chef's hat and then when I was in H0meba$e on Monday I saw one reduced to 50p so grabbed it for myself :D

Decent size (although could be a little bigger). Not effiminate. Cheap.

    Hi

I bought a apron but keep forgetting to put it on. Will wear it next week when I making sourdough bread.

  • Hi guys,

If it's practically you're after, (as another post mentions), a pvc apron is a great way to go, as any mess/spillage can simply be wiped clean with just a couple of swipes!
  • I have a very 'posh' apron...with 'HMY BRITANNIA' on.....do you think the Queen wears one too lol ;)
