Yes yes yes...I love my apron. I use mine to protect my clothes from splashes as well
  • Not usually at home but got one for christmas, wore it on xmas eve & day, tbh keep forgetting to wear it but should as I always end up with cooking splashes down me!
  • I always did at my parents as I am a right one for getting flour/icing sugar/the tea/anything down me! Usually just throw on a pinny so will be bringing one of those home with me from theirs tomorrow as I have constantly forgotton one!

Was tempted to switch to a long/'full length' one but don't think it would suit the way I work :)

Yes! It's saves a lot of hassle trying to get oil spots out of clothes (cooking and washing up!)

  • No I don't, but if the question had 'should' at the beginning then it would be a definite yes :)

I usually remember it when I'm baking as I tend to get flour everywhere. Otherwise, I tend not to bother unless I think that whatever I'm cooking is likely to be particularly messy.
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!

Manwife gave me a cow print apron (matches our cow print tablecloth :D) for Christmas as I'm always spilling flour etc down myself and have ruined a couple of tops spilling oil on them. Already wore it to make cake... and spilled cocoa powder down it, so it's definitely worth it! :rotfl:

  • I've got one in the cupboard - I just forget it's there when I'm cooking/baking
  • Never, although I should.
Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.
  • Yep, I have 2!

I have a cheapo matalan pink spotty one that I use all of the time. I hate getting anything splashed on my clothes. I also have a fantastic ruffled one that cost $30 from Sur La Table in the states. It's similar o the ones Anthroplogy sell for around £30. Aprons are the one thing I learnt to always use from home economic lessons in school.
