Hi all
Here is me modelling the pinny: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zazapics/5107287162/
Frugalista, if I copy the model I can send you the pattern and then you can adjust it! It seems really simple. However, I looked at the link posted by mumoftwo and those pinnies are absolutely gorgeous, much superior to the ones I got in Rome! Perhaps there is NOT a gap in the market after all! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Re cross-over aprons, I found this pattern:
http://www.sewessential.co.uk/largeimage.asp?ProductID=NL_6674&ProductName=Misses Wrap Dress New Look Sewing Pattern No. 6674
Although it is a dress not an apron, at £2.85 I'm happy to adapt it a bit to make the apron I want!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

I have a couple of pinnies that I wear when cooking or washing up, I don't need one for cleaning as thats what DD is for lol :rotfl:
But I wouldn't be without them or my rubber gloves - I buy the ones without flock lining - horrible stuff!

No but I should as I have ruined umpteen t shirts / tops etc due to grease splatters.0

The Gloria one is very pretty, thank you. I may have that as an extraIm sorting out ones to ask my sons to buy me for xmas. Ive actually found probably the lowest price Jessie Steeles at amy's gifts and Im sending it on to the boys to get me one each
So much easier to ask them for what you want than end up with boxes of chocs and slippers at christmas.
These are lovely
