I never do but I should do as I have ruined tons of t-shirts etc by not being able to wash oil or tomato stains out of them.
By the way, if anyone does ruin clothes, don't bin them as I used to. Give them to the charity shop and mark the bag as stained, they get money for them by selling them as rags to specific companies who recycle the material. I still wash them before I give them to them though.
:rolleyes:0 -
I wear one for cooking (i'm only 29 but very messy). The only problem is that it has pockets and i tend to find little leftovers in them, not pleasant!
I clean in my scruff, or in already dirty clothes that i can shove straight into the wash.Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'0 -
I wear one when i cook, i tend to wipe my hands down my front/ side and have ruined lots of tops over the years.
My mil got me a lovely one for xmas with matching gloves
My 2 youngest also have aprons for when we bake together0 -

I've got a few aprons for when I cook.I never wear one when I'm just cleaning.I wear my comfy old joggers and a top.
I'm quite messy too when cooking, the kitchens always fine it's me that ends up scruffy.0 -
I wear an apron when I cook, shame that I still wipe my hands across the back of my trousers if the door goes or the phone rings, meaning floury or wet handprints across my bottom - okay until you get both and end up with a sort of gluey mess lol!
I don't wear one for housework though, but if I'm doing really messy stuff like getting down on my hands and knees on the kitchen floor and scrubbing, or bleaching the grout on the tiles, I do make sure I have on old clothes. Mostly my cleaning routine doesn't involve a huge effort though, normal clothes surfice for hoovering and tidying!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

My wife has just bought a new pinny for my birthday not exactly what I was expecting but welcome none the less my old one was looking a bit scruffy.
She has got me a lovely PVC coated one with a coffee theme printed on it.
Can't wait to cook tea in my new pinny tonight. I think I will keep my old one for messy cleaning jobs.0 -
I wear one when I`m cooking. Spoilt too many clothes with splashes of oil/sauce etc.
They are easier to wash.0 -
I wear a bog standard blue and white stripped, butchers type, apron. But I really think I should be using a white coat!0
