Please keep on posting pics of aprons I love this thread and get all excited when a new post comes on to keep it going, I love aprons. Would love a xmas apron but fabric too pricey. Still looking for the perfect free pattern as well. I like the patriotic apron.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
i have loads of old aprons etc.... but this one below was one of my favourites...but as means must i sold it... but i still got a soft spot for it, and cant delete the photos ...lol...very iconic of the 1940's -50's but this type of wrap around aprons are very hard to date.. as they were very popular for years....

CTC, that's the kind I wear here. As I said pages back they are very much a standard apron in many parts if Europe in my experience. Darned practical too.0
