Please keep on posting pics of aprons I love this thread and get all excited when a new post comes on to keep it going, I love aprons. Would love a xmas apron but fabric too pricey. Still looking for the perfect free pattern as well. I have some old canvas curtains and may attempt to potato print xmas tree patterns on with fabric dye, then make pinnys if I have the time.

  • I honestly don't know Sarah. I just thought it looked great.
Now that I look more closely I note the snakes? on the bib too.

If you think it should be deleted, please do so.
Saves me possibly hours looking up symbols :)

  • i have loads of old aprons etc.... but this one below was one of my favourites...but as means must i sold it... but i still got a soft spot for it, and cant delete the photos ...lol...very iconic of the 1940's -50's but this type of wrap around aprons are very hard to date.. as they were very popular for years....

Why label it so Sarah? :)

CTC, that's the kind I wear here. As I said pages back they are very much a standard apron in many parts if Europe in my experience. Darned practical too.
