I bought a Nigella Lawson duck egg blue apron from TK Maxx for £4 and it is a real comfort blanket. Never cook without it now.

    Cotton or PVC?

    Nothing beats girl power :D

Though I'd prefer to use a more formidable implement for certain boys in charge of the UK
  • I listened to that. It over analysed reasons for wearing an apron. I wear mine cos I'm sick and tired of spilling bleach on my or constantly dusting my boobs with flour.

I just finished listening. Very housewife orientated, despite acknowledging the modern day busy lifestyle and career-mindedness of women. Yes, overdid the point, somewhat.I think this just shows that we haven't completely got out of the notion that the wearing of a "pinny" or "apron" as I prefer is quite feminine.Which goes back to my (much) earlier discussion on how I find it difficult to buy a decent apron for myself, both in size and non-femininity.That said, the acceptance of them, rather than embarassment has to be a good thing.
  • I wear a chef's apron when cooking I have 2 of them they double as a over glove as they are heat proof...like the one's the celebrity chef's wear from a catering company invaluable to me....:D

Pls be nice to all MSer's

I have a few cute vintage-style pinnies - half-length and full-length - and I love them. I sometimes forget to wear them, though. They're a must for baking. I also find them convenient if I'm listening to my MP3 player while doing housework because of the pockets.

hoped to put a pic in for you but their site seems to have problems. They had a v sexy (yes! really!) apron with layers of frills along the bottom.

To avoid all evil, to do good,
to purify the mind- that is the
