Let me make a few things clear OP
"I WAS getting paid PPI of £2000 a month but that only lasted for for a few months when I had to say I was going to be a SAHM"
So, you've been claiming it during your pregnancy - as I'm sure a clever girl like you would put the wheels in motion to make your claim as soon as you could after redundancy - and you have been claiming it for the last five (almost now six) months since your daughter was born, as evidenced by your post made at the beginning of this month:
"Mine is sickness, redundancy and job loss (sacked or dont pass probation) I paid £80 a month for 4 years then I got made redundant and now claim £2000 a month! I thhink its the best thing I ever took out!"
No PPI or health insurance policy pays out if you are pregnant or a stay at home mum, so you've keeping it quiet about it and claiming.
At 2K a month, you have had (conservatively) £10k in last five months and possibly another 4-5 months of money during your pregnancy.
You say that it is due to stop at the end of this month. How convenient it should be stopping when you've been found out on this board. You are covering your tracks because you have committed insurance fraud.
Do me a favour?
Don't p*ss on my leg and then tell me it's raining.
This is my last post. You are full of sh*t and trying to cover your tracks."carpe that diem"0 -

Thanks for that Steel - oh how clever you are - or not in this case
BUT I think you will find I didnt realise I even had PPI til I nearly had dd - I happened to join this site and through browsing through the boards and checking my documents I realised I had in fact taken out PPI and thats when I contacted them - it was at this point that I also realised I could have been claiming JSA too!
What is the point anyway I give up with this now - keep em coming anyway about how I am this that and the other:T:rotfl:0 -
These posts are so volatile. It appears that the OP addressed the issues raised on page 13, it makes sense to me at least. Yes there is a bit of an issue with the PPI during pregnancy, but maybe they should be given a chance to explain before they are judged/ripped to shreads? However, I should imagine they have far bigger things to concern themselves with, than defending themselves!
OP-Whatever the case is with the PPI situation and all the other issues in your life right now, deal with them so that it does not drag you down and impact on your child's life. Your partner sounds a bit of a nightmare and I'd be out of there personaly, but you seem set on preserving your partnership. If you are doing it for the right reasons and not because of keeping up appearances, then I wish you the best of luck with it.
Either way, do not worry/stress about complete strangers views or opinions on any aspect of your life or the choices you make. If you are happy with them and they put your daughter first etc, then that is all that matters

I think the troll qualities as just listed seem to be more suited to those performing the troll hunt.
If you think they are a troll, stop posting/feeding.0 -

Okay the bigger picture....he still owes me £2500 from me bailing him out when we first got together, he had a loan and then his car got towed away....three times cos he forgot to get car tax and parking fines etc, I gave him £300 for xmas to buy a new bike....he didnt get a bike and spent it and he doenst know what he spent it on
I buy clothes off ebay for me and baby and he is just spanking money up the wall.....
now see why I am angry!??!!!
er this is your husband you are talking about. surely your assets are effectively joint even if you divvy up who controls the spending on what.
i bailed my husband out of way more debt than this when we first got together and he's had lots of parking fines etc over the years. whilst it is annoying i don't consider that he 'owes' me. it was my decision to help out and now we are married his wellbeing is in my interest as much as my own.
it's not like you married someone with a glowing financial record who has now gone off the rails. he was rubbish with money when you first met him. you need to come up with ways to help him sort the debt that are less controlling otherwise i'm afraid the golf weekends and blocked emails are only likely to increase as you drift further and further apart. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

Whilst I don't want to start another argument here, and I can see that your husband isn't exactly being mature, can I just ask you to see things from his perspective a little?
You've historically been getting £2,000 a month and putting it to one side. Your husband has been paying the mortgage so far and as you don't want to return to work, he will be paying it indefinitely. On top of this you want him to pay you back for the loft conversion that you are doing on the flat you continuously refer to as YOUR flat. In doing the loft conversion you are adding value to the flat (hopefully by more than it's costing to do it!) but he still only 'owns' 20% of the flat. If the tables were turned, would you be happy to do this? Who stands to lose more if he walks away? You wouldn't be able to pay the mortgage alone. This is supposed to be a partnership...Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

For a "top lawyer", the OP seems not to know much!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
