Seller threatening me with legal action for bad feedback

Have you passed Ebay the messages you have had from the seller, not sure what it will do but at least they can see what type of seller she is0
-
This is the feedback I left:
"Bag was very stained. Seller's attitude unhelpful when refund requested."
As fas as I'm concerned, this is factual. a) the bag was stained (I have photos) and b) she was unhelpful - she wouldn't tell me her name, and was very brusque in her replies and didn't refund me until I raised a dispute!
eBay have asked me to review it - what shall I do?
This is the only negative I have ever left.
as most people have said this is just tosh! however with ebay you never know, just to be extra careful I would change the feedback and get rid of the word 'very', just leave it at stained.0 -
At the end of the day you have left factual feedback, ignore the "legal threats" hot air at best!!
Its not the "princess" by any chance, she was quick to start threatening legal action!!0 -
No, not her. I get the impression this woman is a bit older.0

OK, I've had another message from the [STRIKE]mentalist[/STRIKE] seller asking for my solicitors address and fax no so she can pursue it through the small claims court!
I do have a solicitor friend who would be happy to help, but I don't want to drag him into this if I can help it!0 -

:rotfl: I personally would just ignore them now. Forward all messages to ebay (probably wont do anything but nothing to lose) Then just ignore them. They will either keep this stupidity up and take you to court (which I doubt but would be hilarious:rotfl:) or eventually give up after more stupid messages (which I would still forward to ebay)0 -

I thought the small claims court was the DIY option - why would she want to pay for a solicitor? And isn't it only up to about £3k? Fair enough, that's more than you'd ever want to pay someone who's clearly nuttier than a squirrel's fart, but obviously you haven't done her *that* much damage and I'm guessing that she really doesn't get the legal system at all. What a plank.0 -
Yes, there is no entitlement to costs in the small claims court. I'm not sure what she is claiming *for* exactly - I'm not sure she does either.0
-
Ignore it - to pursue a claim she'd need to quantify a loss, which should require expert witness evidence which will cost her. As she can't recover costs in the small claims court, she would have to be madder than a box of frogs to actually pursue this beyond intimidation.
The other alternative is to play her at her own game and say that if she doesn't shut up, you'll report her to the police for intimidation, harrassment and attempted blackmail/extortion!. Probably none of those are strictly the case but hey if we want to start chucking dubious legal terms around...Adventure before Dementia!0
