I phoned ebay customer services today to ask if they can look into it and (when i finally got the guy to understand i am the seller not the buyer)i was just basically told to phone back 10 days after the 24th March again.
The tracking details are not showing up on the standard DHL link ebay have as a default - http://www.dhl.com/splash.html
so i had to explain that they need to enter a consignment number on this link -http://track.dhl.co.uk/tracking/
(i got the advisor to do this and he saw the tracking shown as delivered)
Apparently because of this i could lose the case?
This prompted the guy to put me through to someone else!!! who then told me that the system did not recognise the details and i need to wait until the 10 days is up to tell them all over again (even though all this is written in the dispute anyway)
The buyer has gone quiet since i asked her to close claim and contact police if someone has been stealing her mail and signing for it.If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -

You've got proof that you sent the parcel, proof it was delivered, proof of the signature at the other end and proof of which courier delivered it! You've done everything by the book and it's up to her to resolve the issue with DHL herself. It's out of your hands.
I'd ignore her now. See if she escalates it. Do NOT refund her. You're in no position to have to do that. Tell her to contact DHL over it herself and see what they have to say for themselves. If she won't contact them then there's definitely something up!
Any chance of you getting a job at ebay customer services???:rotfl:If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
As a regular buyer on ebay, it was always my belief that once an item is posted to me, any issues with the courier are my responsibility. It's not far you've been put through all this worry when you did everything correctly. I do hope that this reaches a resolution and paypal opt in your favour.0

Definitely not, the seller is the one who has the contract with the delivery agent, so it is up to the seller to chase any missing post. Some sellers would just like buyers to think that .Garlicbread wrote: »As a regular buyer on ebay, it was always my belief that once an item is posted to me, any issues with the courier are my responsibility. Would you say this for amazon or any other online retailer? I doubt it. Sellers on ebay have the same responsibility as any other retailler to get the item to the buyer. If they can't prove it they are forced to refund. You should brush up on sellers responsibilities on ebay as by having such a poor understanding you are leaving yourself wide open to being ripped off by unscrupulous sellers.Have a look at the buyer protection if I was youGarlicbread wrote: »As a regular buyer on ebay, it was always my belief that once an item is posted to me, any issues with the courier are my responsibility. Luckily the OP can prove the item has been delivered so they are in the right and will win the case.0 -

I had a problem with a buyer at christmas. again with parcel2go and again the buyer using ebay rather than paypal to open a dispute. i also somehow "agreed to refund" although i didnt. ebay then refunded the buyer on my behalf and since then they have never asked for it back.
i did spend about three hours on the phone to singapore trying to sort it.
P2G where useless in the situation. didnt help at all, in fact didnt answer emailsIf i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -
