Daft buyer saying item not received when i have proof it has been signed for!

I sold a couple of concert tickets on ebay that went for quite a lot of money, and to be safe, I sent them tracked.

The tickets didnt turn up so the buyer called me, I checked online while she was on the phone and it confirmed delivered, we were both fretting for a while...then her next door neighbour popped round with them!!

She may be tring to pull a fast one, but they may turn up, could be with a neighbour, not all couriers bother to put a card through your door.

Not a sausage! Not heard from buyer since i got the 'not my responsibility' message and DHL have not been in touch either? :eek:

Just logged on to my email to find item not received dispute open- after not hearing a thing all this time!

It's a ebay dispute, do these work the same way as paypal disputes?

Dunno if this helps, but Ebay won't let you open an 'item not rec' dispute until around 14 days after the transaction. That's probably why it's taken them so long to open one.
You should be fine as long as you have proof of delivery

I'm really worked up right now and no idea what i'm supposed to say- the latest message from the buyer says Unfortunately i cannot see a POD for the baby clothes. Either way nobody at my house was home to sign for the parcel. The courier could have signed for it themselves: it doesn't take a genious to sign the name to whom it is addressed too. but where is the parcel. Saying it has been signed for doesn't help me'

What am i meant to say when i have done everyrthing i possibly can!

Sorry to hear you're having such a bad selling experience. Just an idea but have you looked at the feedback your buyer has left for her other sellers. I refunded someone over a 'not-as-described item' (even though I knew it was but couldn't be bothered with the hassle or the neg) and then looked back on her feedback to other buyers, the vast majority indicating she had received refund after refund after refund!
If she has left a lot of such feedback, it may useful in defending yourself in the 'not-received case'.
Hope everything gets sorted for you soon. Please don't be put off by this
