Not as far as I know she can open a dispute no matter what. Maybe she has realised she wont win?

Or maybe she is waiting for you to reply - I am thinking that her "I'm going to open a dispute" was supposed to scare you into refunding her......
    Cynical, maybe.

I thought that too, so just replied with 'Ok, No worries'

I wish DHL would hurry with that POD!

You have online POD which is enough for PP. So just keep in contact with DHL and hopefully they will come through.

Not sure if its been asked but is the buyer in flats or has shared postage. Or if they are in a new build sometimes the Postcodes are wrong. It may be worth a look on Google earth.

Not all couriers are reliable, so chances are she could very well be telling the truth here, so although you've got your money and will win a dispute, you will definitely get a negative for this.

Put yourself in the buyer's shoes... I would phone them again and ask for the copy of the signature, and make sure the buyer sends her signature too. If the two don't match, then perhaps you should chase the courier a bit harder about this one?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

The OP should be able to get it removed though so I wouldn't worry about it
  • I've emailed DHL asking for the details because the actual DHL website requires me to have a contract number and password to access those, and i've also been back on p2g live chat, and the operator said he will forward the details to me. I will continue to do this until i get them, then i should be able to inform the buyer (who still has not opened the dispute)

If the buyer has really not received them, then there should be a different address for delivery and another signature, but the tracking shows same surname, which is why i'm doubtful, and this has been a tricky transaction from the moment the listing ended and she emailed to asked if she could collect despite a question posted on the listing saying they are postage only.

Thanks again for all the replies.

If the buyer is a serial scammer (and there are a few I'm sure, just not as many as there seems) then they probably won't want to leave a neg.
It may also explain why they haven't opened a disupte despite saying they are going to.

They could be genuine, but I wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt here, they seem to be awkward.

I agree that you've had a particuarly bad time of it OP- I was reluctant to have a clearout and haven't run any auctions for an age (the business stuff is all instant payment buy it now, with best offer which seems like more trouble than it's worth) but nearly all of my buyers at the weekend paid within 20 minutes and most have already left feedback
They aren't all bad, its just the ones who are that stick out.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p
