Hello again all.
A few days ago i posted on here regarding a buyer of one of my items who wanted to collect without asking before auction ended. Eventually she did pay and i had the items collected by courier the next day, I see the item was signed for yesterday by someone with the same surname.
Just 10 mins ago i got this email...
'Hi,
Please can you tell me when i can expect my parcel to come?'
I have just simply replied with 'According to DHL tracking it was signed for by (surname) yesterday. (and then shown link with proof)
I think she's trying to scam me and probably does not realise it has been sent tracked and i have the proof, maybe the paypal email with tracking information was disregarded LOL
If she opens a dispute, will i be protected, as i have proof of delivery and even the tracking number? arrrrrgggggghhhhh

I had a buyer like this a while ago. She bought a voucher from me and I sent it SD but the signature wasn't showing online after a week so she obviously thought she'd chance it. She 'found' the missing item after I very politely offered to contact her nearest Police station to report that unbeknown to her, someone was signing her name for her post at her address and that this was a criminal offence. She suddenly realised that her husband had put it in his briefcase after signing for it at the door on his way to work one day.
As tempted as I was I didn't reply that her husband signed her full name in very very curly girlie handwriting.
ETa - This reads a bit wrong, but I could see her signature as RM forwarded a copy of the pod to me after I sent them a very panicky email asking what was going on!"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

LOL, did your buyer know it was tracked too? My buyer should have had emails through paypal with the tracking details so i've no idea how she thinks she can get away with saying it has not been received!?
I'm sat refreshing ebay eagerly awaiting another message from her now!If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -

She signed for it, so I assume so :rotfl:.
I think she must have checked the tracking no online and realised it wasn't showing and chanced getting her £45 back. A quick look at her history showed that she often bought vouchers which were listed as first or second class standard mail rather than RD or SD, but no problems were reflected in her fb as eBay don't allow that anymore.
I always list vouchers with untracked posting yet post them special as I have found before that those, like her, who think they will claim non-delivery will push the price almost to face value as they think they'll get it free after a claim. Mind you, I rarely sell on eBay so my research isn't extensive!"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Can someone please help? She's just replied saying 'Nobody signed for anything here. at work all day. only get home at 5-5.30ish and there was nothing here or at any of our neighbours! What happens now?'
She has obviously recieved it, unless DHL are lying, the tracking states it has been signed and delivered, can anyone advise what i'm supposed to say.If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
Tell her to ask her naighbours if someone took it in for her. I know courier companies have left stuff for me with neighbours if I have been out.0

The tracking details say it was signed by someone with the same surname on the parcel, would that be so, if someone else signed for it?If google doesn't know it, how should i?0

i had this myself, bought something on line via ebay, sender posted using one of those cheaper couriers, nothing arrived, did the online tracking and said delivered to and my surname left in safe place! well i hadnt recieved it as wasnt in and no one was and nor had my neighbours. when i rang the parcel co they couldnt even confirm what address it was delivered too etc nor did the sellers invoice/receipt for the delivery co show any delivery address. So it does happen but DHL ive never had any problems with, is their a signature you can view? I cant see the buyer winning a dispute if it shows its been received and signed for0

I know i'm being scammed here as i refused to allow local pick up for the item. I'm really worried now. I have all the tracking info so what happens if she takes this to paypal? The only dispute i've ever had was a chargeback from a buyer and i lost, even after providing tracking so i'm really worried now.If google doesn't know it, how should i?0
