No, I meant tell her you intend to contact her local police yourself. Since she hasn't gotten the parcel yet (or claims not to have), this person who's signing for things has essentially stolen your property. Tell her you intend to contact the police an are sure she'll be happy to cooperate since you're also sure she would like to get to the bottom of who's signing her name for things at her address.Sigless0 -
i just wanted to add my 2 cents to this. i am both a buyer and seller on ebay. I have had problems in the past as a buyer where royal mail, dhl or whoever the courier have signed for parcels and left on my doorstep which is out on a main road where anyone could take it. I eventually contacted the police after my 3rd missing parcel inside a week and royal mail wouldnt respond to my or senders claim that parcel hadnt arrived. Anyway long story short here police arrested 3 drivers who had found be taking not just mine but other peoples items and signing our names. Needless to say that once found out we were compensated. But i can see it from both sides where people try and scam and claim nothing has arrived and having been in the situation where items hadnt arrived but been "signed" for.:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j

I have finally got the POD showing a sig in the name of buyers husband and showing the couriers name aswell. I have just emailed buyer though dispute console asking for an email address to forward this to
IF and its a big IF the courier has stolen the parcel (unlikely, it does say on the label it's a bag of baby clothes!) then we know who he is.
I know stuff like this does happen but i'm still convinced the buyer is pulling a fast one because i refused to allow collection as i've had trouble in the past.
I wish i could close the dispute myself, i'm sick of being told that its my courier (i wish it was i'd be rich if i owned DHL! lol)
Thanks again for all the help :TIf google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
Good grief i really don't know what to do and i am so sick of this now. I have forwarded the POP to the buyer and she said
'Thanks i have just looked at it. It is nothing like my husbands signiture and handwriting!!!!'
What do i do now? The police? Does anyone's signature actually ever look the same when written on a PDA? Please can anyone advise what i'm to do now?
I still do not believe that dhl have stolen it!If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
Just got another message asking "Please can you advise when i will be recieving the refund as per your e-mail of the 24th. Again many thanks for your help."
because i sent a message on dispute centre and didnt realise that the 'i agree to issue full refund' box was clicked, instead of 'offer other solution'
I've just asked the buyer (again) to escalate the case to a claim for ebay to deal with but whether or not she does, i've no idea. I've sent the parcel tracked as required, i see a signature as required, i see it was delivered to buyers address so why should i lose out on £30 & the parcel & contents!!?If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -

Can you as the seller not escalate the dispute yourself?
I really don't see how Paypal/Ebay can find against you in this instance, you've done everything correctly.0 -
No it won't let me close the claim, The only options are 1 - issue a full refund, 2- verify tracking information, 3- I dispatched the item without tracking information and 4 - offer other solution.
I acidentally had option 1 highlighted when responding on the claim a few days ago so now shes bothering me for the refund i 'offered' her!! even though the text i wrote in the message was 'please close the dispute and escalate to a claim'
I think she's reluctant to do this because she knows i will win! This is the end of selling for me i think, i'm getting panic attacks over this and everything sat here shaking like mad :OIf google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
Go with option 2 verify tracking information.
Email your buyer and explain that you agreed to a refund on the grounds that the parcel had gone missing but as it has been signed for you are not prepared to refund0 -
I verified the tracking as soon as she opened the claim but the case is still open. I have told her that i clicked that option by mistake and as far as i'm aware it has been delivered and signed for at correct address so please close casw and escalate for ebay to see, she's not responded...!If google doesn't know it, how should i?0

Is it worth asking her to email a copy of her husbands passport or driving license so you can check the signature.0
