Is it worth asking her to email a copy of her husbands passport or driving license so you can check the signature.

I personally wouldn't keep communicating. I would just ignore any emails not through the paypal resolution centre and only communicate there.. You've done all you can just wait for Paypals decision and escalate if she hasn't

With some bits blocked out and If I had nothing to hide then yes.

If she leaves name and signature uncovered then there's less information than on a cheque.
  • The only way it will let me close the case is by refunding! So you think i should just ignore her now? I suppose that will make her think about escalating!

Yes just ignore her, you have stated your position and she will (eventually) realise that the only way she has any chance of a refund is by escalating

Bobs advice is good. escalate it yourself.
  • any news on this today niknaknoo1982?
  • Just read through all this and by the sounds of it; you've done nothing wrong. You've got proof that you sent the parcel, proof it was delivered, proof of the signature at the other end and proof of which courier delivered it! You've done everything by the book and it's up to her to resolve the issue with DHL herself. It's out of your hands.

I'd ignore her now. See if she escalates it. Do NOT refund her. You're in no position to have to do that. Tell her to contact DHL over it herself and see what they have to say for themselves. If she won't contact them then there's definitely something up!

When I sign on one of those electronic pads that couriers use, it never looks like my signature. I would doubt that if it has the correct address listed and has a signature it wasn't delivered. Sounds like she is pulling a fast one to me.
