So am I getting this right, they aren't taking £5 off they are taking our £5 and then giving us £5 credit to buy more stuff? Isn't this free breakfast thing a big misleading then? Not exactly £5 off our first order is it
  • Not happy. I ordered on Wednesday for a delivery this morning. Called local depot at 11am to ask when the delivery would arrive and was told I would receive a call back. When I heard nothing, called back at half 4 to get an update and was told "The driver has gone home, I don't know why he didn't deliver to you. You'll have to reorder for Tuesday." I know I used a free offer, but its not a good way to get repeat business! I won't be using this service again.

It is £5 off your first order. You place the order then get invoiced for it on the 20th. The £5 is only deducted from your first invoice (so it is free and you never pay for it).

Seems a lot of people aren't getting the gist of these codes

Open a milk and more account
Set up a reg order (3pints every thur for example)
    Set up DD
Once a month you get an invoice before the DD is taken which will show your milk orders ie 12pints=£6 minus £5 credit total to pay £1

I only post as i done this offer about 2mths ago and never had a problem with anything, i think anyone ordering under a 5ers worth of stuff might be causing the issue.
I feel sorry for the nice milkman and do feel a lot of people are expecting something for nothing, how many actually have the intention of ordering anything again after they have had their freebie?
I have a lot of stuff delivered 3 days a week and can't fault them i just hope these promos don't make the milkman go bust and this company can afford to give a 5ers worth of stuff away. As i wish to keep my milkman. :)

Didn't get my delivery due today, the invoice also doesn't mention the £5 discount

Money hasn't gone out yet so I will wait
    :o
  • On the whole I've been quite pleased with ours. If I've ordered for a Saturday it's been at the doorstep by 5am. We had one delivery during the week which arrived later but it was waiting for us when we got home at lunchtime. We've only had the one item out of stock. The only real hitch was the second delivery when it was delivered to our next door neighbour instead. Nearest shops for us are about 2 miles away at least so useful if all you need is a pint of milk.

Think the whole milk&more DM promotion has been a bit of a scam. I used the code, it was applied when I placed my order. Order did not arrive, I had to call to get the order and must have been on the 'phone for about 20 minutes. Yesterday I called because the invoices were due and there was no mention of my 'credit' for £5. I was assured it would show in my invoice later in the day. Of course, it hasn't, I have spent another 15 minutes on to them this morning. They say they cannot stop the payment now and I will have to wait for a refund. Oh, I also wrote to them 10 days ago,to ensure they applied my promotion code on the March invoice as it wasn't showing up in my account - they never replied.

The whole thing is a scam, I will also be contacting the Daily Mail.
  • I have just received my first invoice having used the MSE code to order £4.53 worth of goods. My account hasn't been credited and says they will take the amount from my credit card. When I phoned customer services there was a pre-recorded message saying that those who used the MSE code will have there accounts credited on the next invoice meaning that it is in reality a buy one get one free offer which isn't what I signed up for.

Have you actually been sent the invoice by email or is it just showing on their website?
