Milk&More free £5 food offer - Your feedback

I had the order delivered with no problems at all on Friday.
This morning I received an invoice via email saying they would be charging me £4.84.
I've called the customer services and after 15 minutes on hold managed to speak to somebody.
Basically they are aware that there have been problems with the voucher code. Many people will be getting invoices and will be charged the full amount of their order in March. They will then be crediting these customers' accounts in April, so that provided no more orders are made, customers should receive a refund next month.
To be on the safe side I have asked to receive this information in writing, but provided the money comes back in April I'm happy.0 -
Well i have not had an email snet to me with my invoice as of yet, but my invoice is showing up on the website and surprise surprise the discount has not been applied.
I set up payment via direct direct so i am going to be cancelling the direct debit via my online banking so they can not take payment that is not due and try and call milk and more tomorrow.
I was very pleased with the delivery, as everything i ordered turned up very early was waiting on my doorstep for me.
Not so sure i will be using again if they can not get the invoices correct.0 -
Just phoned milk and more, waited 15 minutes to get through ( luckily im with BT so 0845 is included in my calling plan ) I spoke to a lady called Vicky.
She said a £5 credit will be applied to my account for April. I advised that this was not the offer and that i was not happy to ay for what was ordered this time and re order to get the offer next time.
She appolgised and said they were having issues with the discount.
I said i was going to cancell my direct debt and the outstanding balance i do not owe will be cleared by the £5 credit that her account department is going to apply. I was told that thecredit will take a few days to be applied. The £5 credit will show up on my april invoice and the balance will be nill.
Hope this helps ther people.0 -

Its a shame that this has happened as I had been thinking about getting deliveries on a regular basis. The order turned up late and the bread had been nibbled by god knows what.0 -
Since I didn't get the delivery the status has changed to "undelivered" and the invoice changed to show I owe £0, so at least I won't get charged by the looks
Oh well, guess it's not working properly around here!
btw I haven't rang because I only use a mobile and would tear through my limited credit0 -
What a complete farce. I also did not get my £5 discount. Food was left loose (not in a bag), NOT in the place where I asked it to be left. Come on Milk&More, where are you? There are plenty of people not happy here....you seem to have gone quiet.0

Damn! I placed an order earlier and missed the bit about it having to be a direct debit, I'm pretty sure I chose something different (but can't remember the option). My delivery is tomorrow morning so it's too late to cancel, how do I rectify this problem?0

I don't think it has to be a direct debit. I think you can just give your credit or debit card number, and any orders you make will come off your card every month. That's how I understood it anyway.
Oh I hope so. I hope the order goes smoothly too, I really want to be able to use this service in future.
This service would be amazing for me to use occasionally because I can't always get out to the shops due to disabilities. I know you can get supermarket deliveries but they're so much more faff than this appears to be, supermarket deliveries also usually charge so you need to do a big shop and I only shop for myself (and have limited space).. And you have to be in to sign for it, I may be too ill to go to the shops but the DSA rebates taxi fares to and from uni so I wouldn't always be in. This service would be a great stop-gap until I was felt well enough to shop.0
