Well what a joke free breakfast?? More like free lunch lol the order turned up at just before midday! By an extremely grumpy milkman who was slamming his door and looking very annoyed. I asked for the items to be left on the front door step (normal place I thought) but no he leaves it by the back gate.

My invoice is showing the full amount without the £5 being taken off or the cool bag price being taken off and its sounding like it will cost me a lot just to phone up and complain

Its a shame really as I was looking to start having a regular delivery and when I saw this offer I thought it was ideal to try out the service, I tried it failed they've now lost what would have been a regular customer.

Do you have a geographic number we can call you on? I ask because it costs me a fair bit to make calls to 0845 numbers and it sounds like there could be some waiting-on-hold involved, presumably given the popularity of the offer.

(My query is the applicability of the offer to existing customers).

    Regards,

    Mathew

If you type the number in here there are a lot of geographical numbers listed! :-)

I'd seen that, but thanks. Rather than try my luck with one of the numbers I was hoping the company rep could confirm which, if any, I should be calling to get through to customer services but it would seem they've done a runner which doesn't bode well given the comments that have been appearing!

Are MSE monitoring this thread? If so, can someone comment on the apparent dissatisfaction with how this 'deal' is working out for those that have experienced confusion and other difficulties?

  • £5 off seemed a great reason to give my local milkman a go. Despite the price of milk seeming quite a bit higher... My order was supposed to arrive this morning and didn't. When I phoned to find out why, I was told it must have been missed, that they would have to cancel it and I could reorder.... I politely declined. I wonder if they will charge me? Shame.

Ordered on thursday. Woke up at 6.30am because i thought milkman woul dbe here early and i could cook breakfast. Hadnt come by 8 so i went back to sleep. Checked half an hour ago and all my stuff is there so i've no complaints with the service. As for the £5 discount i still am not sure if they've given it to me. Overall though it is a good service if not a bit pricey. Good for the special offers though occasionally.

I got my delivery this morning, no complaints with what was left but neither the free cool bag code or the MSE code was deducted from my invoice. I called M & M and after 8 min wait was told that I couldn't use two promotional codes together and the MSE £5 will be on my next invoice the 20th April....fingers crossed but I don't hold high hopes! I feel another phone call coming next month! Think I might pop to Tescos in future :rotfl:

woke up to find potatoes, bacon, hot cross buns on the doorstep. Whole amount has been deducted but the recorded message on their customer services says anyone using the MSE code will see the credit on their next statement. Let's hope the refund is done at the same time!

  • I had the same problem, I put my voucher code in and it said Promotion has been applied, but the price still stayed the same.

Then surely they should say BEFORE you order that they can't be used together yet instead they both say confirmed when you put the codes in, in that case they can come and collect my cool bag and I'll order again and they can bring it back out as a seperate order
