When you register you will have the option to leave delivery instructions, simple fill in where you'd like your deliveries to be left.
Once your order has been delivered, you will be able to view the details by visiting 'My Account' then 'My Invoices'. (Top right hand side of the website).
As for when it rains, your milkman should leave your delivery out of the rain, in a plastic bag, or use a cool bag (if you have left one out).0 -
Sorry if I appear a bit thick, but does the first order have to be £5? We want a milkman anyway so I have just set up a regular delivery of milk and a direct debit. I'm expecting my first month's bill to just have £5 deducted from it. Have I got that right?
That is correct you will have £5 deducted from your first bill.0 -
Sadly stopped using a milkman years ago due to cost. Decided to have a look at milk & more to help local business. Unfortunately for me the prices are still far too high. Eg £1.12 for 2 pints semi skimmed which is 86p in supermarkets (about a 30% mark up). Also my corner shop, (my favourite local business) sells milk 8am-10pm, never more than 50p a pint and often has milk as a loss leader.
Thought I'd try to see how much more the farmer is getting from milk & more. According to the farmers guardian 0.25 pence per litre, approx 0.5%. For me these prices don't justify changing even with the £5 incentive.0 -
Just wondering what happens if you live in a flat? I guess they can't just leave it on the doorstep of the block?
I would love to do this at my house but would just get it stolen by local kids.
I live in a flat, well a low rise flat (3rd floor at the top). When I placed my order I specifically asked that my items are left outside the communial front door of the block and I would collect them on my way out to work, as I am always the first person out of the block in a morning. But no, my milkman insisted on repeatedly pressing the communial buzzer at the main entrance door downstairs for me to let him in at 5.25am in the morning so he could bring the stuff up. I have also checked 'my payments pending' on my account with Milk & More and the £5.00 has not been deducted. I wrote to them over 2 weeks ago as I could not get through on the 'phone, and they have still not even had the decency to reply to me, even after I took time out to send them a letter. Lousy service. I shall not be using them again - it is just not worth the hassle.0 -

You can also get a free pint of milk - go to the "offers" section and add the pint of milk and put put the code ONEMILK10
So in addition to the £5 off you are getting a further £4.99 off the cool bag and 80 odd p for the milk.
When you did this - did it take off the money for both milk and cool bag in your order confirmation, as Mine still shows the £4.99 for cool bag, even if it deducted it at first...?I don't think I can hang on til Friday...0 -

Do you have a geographic number we can call you on? I ask because it costs me a fair bit to make calls to 0845 numbers and it sounds like there could be some waiting-on-hold involved, presumably given the popularity of the offer.
(My query is the applicability of the offer to existing customers).

I ordered on Wednesday evening via website
1 x British Smoked Bacon 200g
1 x Mr Juicy Orange Juice 1 ltr
1 x Yeo Valley Organic Natural Yogurt 500g
1 x Kingsmill Hot Cross Buns, four pack
Today left on the doorstep without a plastic bag -
1 x British UN-Smoked Bacon 200g(No explanation why wrong type)
1 x Mr Juicy Orange Juice 1 ltr
1 x Yeo Valley Organic Natural Yogurt 500g
0 x Kingsmill Hot Cross Buns, four pack(no explanation as to why not delivered)
I checked my account and so far I am being invoiced (although its not the 20th yet!) for all 4 items including the non existent hot cross buns and my £5.00 has not been deducted. It doesn't instill confidence really does it?
So out of the 4 items ordered only two of them arrived correctly. Don't think I'll be rushing back to the milkman just yet then0 -
Well what a joke! first order has not turned up and when I call I get told ah its due to your postcode being on the wrong round, whos fault is that!! they said they will get this out to me later today hope next week is better luck!
I think this should be called Milk and no more !!0 -
I placed my order on Wednesday and requested for delivery today.
Opened my front door this morning to find all items i ordered were there and waiting for me.
1x Pure Orange Juice
1x Chocolate milk
1x Smocked Bacon
1x 2 litre semi skimmed milk
The only thing i would say is that the items were just left on the door mat, i would have at least thought they would have placed them inside a carrier bag.
I will now wait to get my invoice on the 20th and see if the £5 discount has been applied. If that all goes smoothly then im a happy customer and will be using my milk man again.0 -
I placed an order on Wednesday and the first available delivery was today. The bacon was pushed through the letterbox around half 9 and the rest was dropped off around 11 (chocolate milk, orange juice, croissants) with a note saying the bacon will be sent later! Obviously the milkman just left the depot being told just that.
The quality is good but the prices are not exactly attractive. Maybe a good solution for rural areas but in a metropolitan area they will never compete with the supermarkets and the local businesses so I'm afraid that I will not be buying again.
As for the code/payment issue, I have received an e-mail from them explaining that the MSE code was accepted and I will see it in my next invoice so I have no complaints there.
I agree with MJNewton about the contact number. It's actually a bit insulting to post 0845 numbers on a website which is trying to help us save money! Most people do not get free 0845 calls so I fail to see why they cannot supply regional number(s) mAYBE SOMEONE AT mse HAS A COMMENT ON THAT?0
