Just wondering how the actual delivery part works - our local mm comes round at about 5am (i've heard the van), so where does he leave the goods, how do you confirm what you have received & what happens if its raining?
It all ends up on the doorstep in a carrier bag. Fortunately I recovered mine from the doorstep as soon as he came as it was pouring with rain at the time.

With regards to flats, probably depends on the milkman and what sort of area he thinks it it (i.e. will the milk get stolen). Mine just left it on the front doorstep, despite me specifically asking him to press the buzzer for my flat as I would be awake at that time.

when selecting products do you need to select 'regulary' or is it OK to select 'once', as long as direct debit is selected.

    Thanks.
  • Im rather hacked off that they dont deliver to me. I could do with a milkman. I cant believe that there isnt one around here.

My order was just left on the doorstep, no carrier bag, but then we do have an open veranda on the front of the house, so it was undercover. But having placed an order which was not delivered and having the email about the coolbag, when I rang to tell them about the order, I asked if I could treat the order I was now going to place as my first, and I was told yes. So now I've checked my invoice...oops both deliveries have been charged and the coolbag. When I eventually got through, (yesterday waited 20 mins, today about 15)the girl at Dairy Crest was very aplolgetic, and said it would all be sorted...but unfortunately its not been a good experience, so I think I'll carry on getting my milk from the supermarket.

If you put your postcode in the main page, the response will tell you the name of your local milkman and what days he delivers on.
Yes it tells me that he works 6 days a week when in fact he doesn't.
It aint over til I've done singing....

Apologies if you have had trouble using the MSE promotional code over the last 24 hours. As posted at the top of this thread, we have a dedicated customer services line 0845 606 3606 who will do all they can to help you. Below is a detailed explanation of how the offer works:

    · First enter your postcode to check that we can deliver to you and therefore eligible for this offer. If so please register your details. If not apologies but you are not eligible for this offer.
    · Have a look at the range of products available and place your order.
    · In your shopping basket, click on "edit and confirm", enter your promo code "MSE" and click "GO".
    · Click "confirm" once you're happy with your order and enter your payment details. You will need to set up a regular payment method to receive this offer. Your order will now appear in the "My Confirmed Orders" section.
    · If you spend less than £5 no payment will be taken.
    · If you spend more than £5, payment is monthly and £5 will be automatically deducted from your first invoice, which you'll receive on the 20th of the month.

You can select a one off delivery for an order or regular, it's up to you.

Thanks for the clarification - it is always appreciated to hear from the horse's mouth as it were!

Can you confirm if the code is valid for existing customers? The site accepts the code but as it apparently doesn't get applied until the invoice date it could be an unfortunate surprise if it doesn't work out!
