Very unimpressed by the service.
Placed an order for delivery last Fri (19th) with 4 items, total £4.95. Applied £5 MSE code so theoretically free.
On Friday, only 1 item (worth £1.25) arrived, but all 4 showed up online as having been delivered. AND invoice does not show £5 MSE code credit.
Spoke to them today (after on hold for ~15 mins). Their response was:
* payment run is today, "too late" to cancel, so I will be invoiced for £4.95
* they will refund £3.70 next month - this was initially offered as an aco!!!! credit but I have said I will not order with them again, so they will refund it to my account (and close it in the process)
I told them not to bother with the code (would also have shown as £5 credit on account - so another order would have been needed) as I was frustrated with the set up and just wanted to cut my losses (incidentally, options seemed to be: EITHER get refunded for things not delivered OR receive credit for those and the voucher - which would have meant a total of £8.70 in credit).
Do not understand why the items weren't delivered (1 out of 4 is a pretty poor hit rate) and being charged for them, then refunded a month later is pretty pants.
Will NOT be using this service again - back to the supermarket it is...0 -
Martin, you need to sort this out. You got us into this mess. You should stop advertising this offer because it clearly doesn't work.
It is impossible to get the £5 back off these shysters. Spent 30 minutes on the phone to them, still not got the £5 back. It's not worth the aggro to be honest. They have no email contact for Customer Services that in itself is laughable. What a disorganised and dishonest company!!0 -
Agreed. I am amazed that MSE are still promoting this offer given the obvious dissatisfaction by many in this thread.
Come on MSE - you said you were monitoring this thread so can we please have some comment from you on this debacle? Given your awareness of the situation your implicit endorsement of this company risks shedding bad light back on yourselves.

I have been monitoring this thread after commenting and wondered if a representative would be back to help.
I was torn between letting it go and trying to get a refund, I tried AGAIN today at 8.10am for 12 minutes and gave up after not getting through.
They must have made some good money off this code not working!!
I wish I had not bothered with this code now as I paid over the odds for most of the items! should have stuck with just trying it out for milk and paid!0 -
Placed my order for delivery today and called up at lunchtime as it had not arrived. Was left holding for about 10 minutes to get through and then put on hold again whilst they found out where my order was. I was fobbed off that the order must have been stolen. I instructed the delivery to be left in my porch - if it was left there my dog would have barked when it was left and he also would have barked if someone had gone into there to steal the order.
I am really annoyed that they clearly have not delivered the order - they have said that the will credit my account however I will probably not place another order ever again due to the crap service.
I would also suggest the MSE remove the offer from their website.0 -
Has no-one tried to phone on the geographical number I suggested a few posts earlier? When I tried it I got through straight away.0

Hi folks,
Thanks for all the feedback on this offer and the problems you are having. We are working hard with Milk&More to get this sorted properly, so that everyone gets the offer as intended. I'll give all updates and news as soon as possible - at the moment we are awaiting a couple of answers from them on what they intend to do

After my compalint I have received a called from one of the managers from Dairy Crest. He was extremely helpful on the phone and he is investigating my problem with my order not turning up and has promised to get back to me by the end of the today with the reason as to why my order did not arrive.
On a positive note I have actually received some good customer service from Andrew who I spoke to. Lets just hope the issue can be resolved.0 -
This is disappointing, I have been invoiced the full £5 quid odd, and the loaf of bread I ordered was replaced with a smaller one but I have been charged full price still.
If they take the whole amount of the invoice from my account, I will reclaim the full amount via the direct debit guarantee on the grounds that the amount is incorrect, and that they have not notified me that they have produced an invoice 3 days before payment is taken by email (which their website says they will). It is a shame because we were thinking about ordering our top-ups of milk etc. through them but now won't be unless they fix the problems they are having to our satisfaction.0 -
just been skimming this thread and wanted to share!
Appalled......I received a promo code through the door back in feb (b4 MSE published it) and thought I'd try it out b4 sharing on a forum .......good job.- First order and delivery fine (order came to 5.34 so was expecting to be invoiced for 34p)
- Had 6 pints of milk delivered that I didn't order on 1st March. Called them, they confirmed I didn't order, but said I could keep the milk (woudl not have been good as outside all day and I don't actually use it)
- Was invoiced on 20th March for the £5.34 and an extra £3.60 for the extra milk.
- Spent 1 hour on hold to customer services on Monday 22nd without speaking to anyone.
- Expected DD to be paid today, but it hasn't been ...
- called today and explained about being charged for stuff I didn't order. They now say my account will be credited for the amount - I'll believe it when I see it and she wasn't clear as to whether they would take whole amount first, and then credit my account ....cann see I'll have a fight to get it back into my bank account ...not going to order again!
