I've had £4.85 come out of my bank account today! Even though my invoice says:

    "20-MAR-2010 Sign up offer discount £-5.00 -"

    Extremely annoyed with milk&more.

well i ordered this with a code and was pleased with the milkman's service. i think i may have been charged full price but at the end of the day its only a fiver. having milk delivered is a premium service these days so if any of you are too mean to pay the price then go to the supermarket with all the other scum bags instead of bleating about how you got skanked five quid

I dont think its so much the money mate more that people were led to believe that the discount would be applied first. It does make me laughthat some people ordered 4.99 worth of stuff just to get their full money's worth. I dont think its a scam just that the company cannot cope with the logistics

My invoice stated I would be charged £.75. I telephoned them from a number I obtained with saynoto0870 and was told that the credit would be shown on my March invoice and my bank account would not be debited.

Well I have checked my account and the money has been debited. Not sure whether to phone again or wait and see for next month.

Quite like the idea of using them if children are ill but feel they should have been a little more organised with the discount system.

I am really pleased with the service, I used the Daily Mail code for goods of just under a £5 and then ordered 4 extra pints the following week and got billed the right amount. I got my free pint last week, and will keep using the service - this is the nicest milk ive tasted in a long time. :)

out of 3 orders i have ony received one of them with no problems. My order today was not delivered andI was told that it was due to incorrect delivery days being posted on their website. I am awaiting a call from the depot to find out why my order which was driven to me by car is not correct.

Full amount has just come out of my account too with no discount.

    Can't say I am surprised!

I've been a M&M DD customer for about a year now and have unfortunately had quite a few problems. Back in the summer I didn't receive my order on at least 4 occasions and had to phone them to get the money credited back (was never offered any kind of gesture, not even a free pint of milk which I think was quite poor). They blamed computer/website problems at the time and they seemed to sort things out as my deliveries have been perfect ever since.

They sent me a letter at the beginning of March with an offer code for £5 off which I didn't hesitate to use seeing as it was addressed to me. I have since paid the invoice by DD and just checked - no sign of a discount. Got the email for the free pint of milk and code accepted - but no sign of a discount on my bill. Tried calling them but gave up after 10 mins on hold. This must be the only company with no email address!

I wish there was an alternative - my milkman is fantastic, the milk is on my doorstep by 5am and I get fresh milk 3 days a week which means no big plastic bottles going sour in the fridge. During the heavy snow we got no post, no refuse collections but the milk was there on time. It might cost a bit more than supermarket milk but I save money in the long run - no more popping into Tesco's for milk and leaving with a trolley full of shopping! I swear it tastes better in a glass bottle too :)

I'll stay a loyal customer for now but they're really trying my patience and I can't imagine they'll get many new customers with the way this offer went.

That's what I also find a shame as we always had a milkman when I was younger and I can't fault the delivery it was nice and early and I was genuinely impressed but the worry for me is that they have had no luck in sorting out this/getting through so anything could happen down the line with bills and it would be an awful hassle to try to sort out and clear up.

Quite a shame really as this could have been a great marketing project if it had all worked as planned

I'm in the same boat as a number of others on here, order came to £4.56, delivery as promised, email arrived telling me my discount had been applied but £4.56 has been taken from my bank account. I have just been on the phone to them and advised I would get a £5 credit on my next invoice which I wasn't happy about as from reading your experiences on this thread I had visions of more problems and no credit. The customer service person was helpful and told me the only way I can have the money put back into my account is to close my account but I have to wait for them to call me tomorrow to sort out. I will keep you posted as my cynical side is not expecting a call!
