I dont think its so much the money mate more that people were led to believe that the discount would be applied first. It does make me laughthat some people ordered 4.99 worth of stuff just to get their full money's worth. I dont think its a scam just that the company cannot cope with the logistics

The £4.99 is because there was a freezer bag for that price. I didn't sit there working out exactly how much the products came to in order to have my order under a fiver!

well i ordered this with a code and was pleased with the milkman's service. i think i may have been charged full price but at the end of the day its only a fiver. having milk delivered is a premium service these days so if any of you are too mean to pay the price then go to the supermarket with all the other scum bags instead of bleating about how you got skanked five quid

It's not about the money, it's the priciple. If someone said to you, "come into my restaurant for a free meal. It's an introductory offer" in a place you didn't normally dine, then you received a bill for the full amount, would you feel like you'd been scammed? Or would you leave a tip and go again? LOL

Finally got through to them, they were very apologetic and it sounds like they've been overwhelmed with the response to this offer.

Not an excuse but they said they're aware of the problem and are doing what they can to ensure it gets sorted.

The CS man assured me that I would not be charged for the cool bag I've ordered for tomorrow so hopefully I won't need to make another call!

Didnt work well for me either.
Ordered 5 items, got ONE delivered.
Have cancelled Direct Debit rather than argue with them.

PS If anyone has been charged and having trouble getting it back, you can always invoke the DD guarantee - your bank will refund you and then chase them.
  • how do you do that? invoke the dd? im with natwest. milk and more have ripped me off too.
  • You contact your branch. Make sure you are paying by direct debit and not card, say you want a refund under the direct debit guarantee.

You might find that your bank tries to fob you off, so you can always print the page above. 'full and immediate' as an error has been made by the organisation (milk and more). They should process it on the same day.

The below might also be useful

This must be the only company with no email address!

I swear it tastes better in a glass bottle too :)

I'll stay a loyal customer for now but they're really trying my patience and I can't imagine they'll get many new customers with the way this offer went.
Nice post. The fact they have no email is very poor. the milk tastes great, better out of the bottle
