the milk tastes great, better out of the bottle
Strange, I thought the same! Having glass bottles in the fridge which make a noise when you open the door also brings back great memories of when I was a young child and we had milk delivered!

When I called CS about the £5 not being deducted, I also asked how the cool bag offer would work - would I have to wait a month to get the money back for that? They promised me it would go through straight away and I wouldn't have to pay anything...well guess what...it hasn't:mad:

I'll be making another call on Tues [sigh]

I phoned them up this afternoon, the woman apologised about the discount not coming off and is getting someone to ring me back tomorrow to get £5 back onto my card :)
  • I set up my direct debit and placed an order on 17th March. It arrived on 18th March (in 2 halves - the order was mixed up and the milkman brought the missing items a few hours later! V. apologetic though...)
My invoice page has the full amount of £4.33 showing as Unpaid, and I did not recieve an email to tell me that the invoice was up and ready. I wonder when they will take the money?
The MSE code has not been applied either. I suppose I will just wait until April 20th and see what happens?

Well, I have just received notification of the payment date (4th Apr) for the wrong amount. I am wondering if I should just cancel the direct debit now, or wait for it to be taken then get a refund from the bank?

I didn't have the £5 taken off either I rang & was told i'd be refunded, but as on hold so long, didn't ask to which account - doh
Nothing in milk & more account & nothing in bank - si I expect i'll be ringing again.
No way am I ordering cool bags or free pints, sorry haven't read all the way through, but looks like a lot of people have had problems.
my order arrived on time, lovely & early actually, but this sort of thing has put me off using them again

I have made up my mind to cancel the direct debit as clearly I should not owe anything, I have phoned the bank and also sent this letter, if anyone else wants to use it.

I am writing to inform you that I am can celling the direct debit on my account with effect from today’s date.

This is because when I ordered my first order I used a code to allow £5 off. In addition, my full size loaf of bread I ordered was substituted for a smaller loaf and no adjustment to the invoice was made.

Consequently, there should be no balance on the account and I should owe nothing.

It is a pity that this mistake was made, as I was assured by the recorded message on your customer service line that the adjustment to the invoice for the £5 off code would be made. Unfortunately I was unable to speak to a representative due to the lines being busy.

I would like to say that I was very impressed with your delivery service, and would use this again if I could be assured that I would be billed accurately. The problem is clearly not the fault of your delivery driver. I was seriously considering using milkandmore for top-up shopping during the week, but if you are going to promote your business in this way then you must deliver what you have promised in terms of offers. As you promoted the offer via a moneysaving web site the episode has undoubtedly tarnished rather than enhanced your company’s reputation.

I will reinstate the direct debit on my account and may order from you again if you can assure me that no similar errors will be made.

Another happy soul with an incorrect bill. What a shambles, I will wait to see what is taken from my account on 4th April.

Remember, there must have been thousands who took this up. I dont think the number of complaints is too many, all things considered. That said they havent billed me for an order i made on March 19th yet so maybe they forgot and i wont be charged. We'll see. I agree the service is good and the milk is great.
