I ordered a few weeks back, total £5.49, received email confirming voucher applied, so was expecting to pay £0.49. However received invoice for full £5.49 which was then debited from my bank. Called yesterday and promised to credit my account with £5. Which means I will have to order again to receive it? Effectively I have paid £5 to receive another £5 of overpriced goods. It had been my intention to keep the account open so that if I had an emergency i could order milk on occassion, but this hardly inspires confidence. Especially as I ordered a pint of milk be delivered last week when I ran out - it was delivered at 1.30am and was warm by the time we got up next morning!!

After a quick search its here, its probably better to do a search instead of starting a new post that isnt a freebie.

Just a heads up as someone will ask for this thread to be moved as its not a freebie.

Milk & More deducted the full amount and have just offered to credit the £5 to my Milk & More account. I am not happy with this as I had no intention of using them again. Think I will e-mail the CEO.

Nevermind cheeky, one the parties is in breach of the DD scheme rules. Raise it with your bank and they will be able to advise one way or another who it is. It will most likely be Milk&More, assuming the original cancellation instruction was definitely acted upon by the bank.

This happens quite often and, sadly, goes to illustrate how weak the DD guarantee and checks/balances are. It all pretty much went downhill when it bacame standard practice for DD instructions to be set up without dated signatures - all in the name of convenience - hence it is all too easy for organisations to reinstate a cancelled DD with an old instruction as the bank is none the wiser.

I haven't either. Just logged on to check.

I assumed that after a month they would have done what they said they would do and applied a credit to use!

I have just had a big argument with Milk & More after still not receiving a credit into my bank account from my order of 20 March. They had originally applied a credit to my account but I stated that due to their poor service I would not be using them again and they had agreed to credit my bank account.

After holding for 30 minutes (its the principle!!!!) I have finally spoken to a manger and after threatening to take lewgal action for the company being in breach of terms & conditions they have once again agreed top refund money into my bank account. I have told them they have 7 days and then I shall write formally seeking compensation on top of the monies owed.

Ask to speak to Jan Heredia who is a top lever manager and she should hopefully authorise bank credits for all those out of pocket. Be forceful and quote breach of terms & conditions.

    Good luck.
