I've just called as I received an e-mail to say the £5 discount had been applied to the account but my invoice is still for the full amount. The lady told me that they had had a number of problems but she would get this amount credited to the account assuming I was planning on ordering again. I then explained that my most recent order for a veg box hadn't arrived or if it had arrived it had been stolen so I was unlikely to bother again. She assured me she would get this credited to my account as well and she hoped they could keep me as a customer. Assuming I get these amounts credited I will give them another try but it is bad especially with all of you saying they wouldn't credit you the £5 because you took up the free milk offer. I certainly never saw any mention of this offer making the code void. I did get the free milk and then I received the e-mail telling me my discount had been applied.
Lets hope they get it all sorted and quickly.
How soon after placing/receiving your order did you receive the email to say the discount had been applied? My first order was delivered on Saturday & my free pint of milk was delivered today, but I've not received any email yet. My online invoice shows £0.00 for the free pint of milk, but £4.67 for the first order (no £5 discount applied).0 -
cant be bothered with all this. they've lost my custom due to their ineptitude0

EDIT: I have just called customer services and was told that because I used the free pint of milk offer the code cannot be applied. I told him that was a misleading offer and he has requested a £5 credit from the accounts team. Whether or not I hear from them, we'll have to wait and see, but it looks like I will be charged the full amount.
I suggested that maybe I could be charged for the full amount for the pint of milk, to allow the £5 to be deducted - that way I would still save more money. Their response will determine whether or not I am likely to use them again. Good customer service goes a looooong way!
UPDATE: I have just been billed the full amount. I rang MM again and the woman that I spoke to said she had no record of my previous conversation (see above). I was obviously a bit disappointed with this and have requested a full refund. She advised that this would require the closing of my account, to which I hurriedly agreed to! No more Milk&More for me!
Even if I don't get the refund, at least I don't have to deal with any more appauling customer service... (although, to credit her, this CS adviser was very polite today)
UPDATE2: I recieved a call from Dairy Crest regarding the full refund. I have a new invoice on my MM account stating that MM have credited me a full refund back to my bank acount, so I am just waiting to see the payment on my bank statement. Success!Started comping April 2014

They are now saying that 'due to a technical hitch, the £5 can't be deducted this month, but it will be credited back to your Milk&More account next month'. Umm, that WASN'T the offer!! I don't want a credit note as I'm not going to use them again.
I emailed Dairy Crest (using the email address a few posts up) & my email has been passed on to Andrew Kendall (Marketing Director of Household??).0 -
Used the voucher in March to be delivered on 19th which it was.
Have been charged the full amount today. The voucher was definitely applied to the order. Am I going to have to ring up to get it refunded? What are my chances. I'm gutted!!0 -
To add insult to injury I received this morning a spam e-mail sent to an e-mail address created/used only for my Milk&More account. The address is formulated such that it could not have been stumbled across by a spammer merely creating random recipient addresses to target.
I'm not suggesting that Milk&More are selling addresses on - indeed I am not suggesting anything whatsoever - but it has raised the question to me of how secure such information is being held. The fiasco with the website accepting vouchers seemingly regardless of eligibility, yet not actually applying them either way in some cases, had already made me wonder about the capability and robustness of their technical infrastructure.

If only i had seen this thread.
I've just sent them a letter.
In the end the code expired before i got a chance to use it, though i thought i'd try them out anyway as it would be so useful to us.
So we ordered and expected it on monday.
Monday arrived and our order didn't.
I phoned tuesday got an apology and promised that it would be re-ordered and that we would be refunded for the failed delivery.
Well wednesday (our next delivery day) it didn't show up again. I phoned up explained what had happened and got told that no order had been re-placed. She then re-orded for me.
Friday it finally showed up only 2 of our items were wrong - yet again i phoned up and was apologised too, he credited me for those two items. Then i realised i hadn't been refunded for mondays failed delivery - another phone call later it was sorted.
To be honest this would of been so useful for myself and also my parents.
I'd love a proper apology from them.0 -
I'm not quite clear on the consensus here but I added the free milk to my order and I'm guessing this means that the free fiver offer was invalidated?
I have certainly been charged and the money has left my account.
Incredibly frustrating and such a waste of time. My dodgy fridge door threw the milk on the floor as well so i ended up with a mess, glass everywhere and I got charged.0
