(I used the original mse code only around 19th March).
I too had my full bill taken but more importantly, at the time of ordering, I received a confirmation email from them stating that the mse code had been accepted and assuring me the £5 would not show on next month's invoice.
Next month came and dd took the full amount. I reminded them of what their email had said. They credited my account with £5. I replied stating that since they themselves had confirmed the £5 would not be taken, they should honour their word and refund my card not credit the account. They agreed (and also left the account credited with £5 anyway).
I'm not sure how this'll work for those who used other codes or didn't receive an email confirming the mse code acceptance but for those that did, you should get a proper refund.
This was a bit of a mess up but I got the sense they did want to rectify their mistake and were helpful.0 -
The continuing saga of Milk and More. Order £10 worth of goods on 4th March using the Daily Mail code, delivered on the 5th, also added the 'free' cool bag. My account was charged £14.99 as they charged for the cool bag, and they didn't take off the £5 voucher. After a long wait on the phone I spoke to someone who said if I returned the cool bag, which I did, the £4.99 would be taken off my account, she said I couldn't have both offers. So far so good. Got my credit card statement and they've taken £14.99 off me. Just phoned them and got a very unhelpful answer, it seems that although I ordered on the 4th March it was not in time for them to take the discount of the March invoice, they are adamant that they will not refund the £5, if I want to use it I'll have to order something else. Asked to speak to someone senior and they said someone will phone in the next couple of day but 'they will tell you the same as I'm telling you'. So they have taken £14.99 off my credit card when I only owe them £5, I asked what if I can't afford to pay and they just said it wasn't their problem!
Craftingmad what tel.no did you use to speak to Jan Heredia? Any chance of Martin taking this up on our behalf?0 -
Hi folks,
We've kept monitoring this and been working to get some clarity from Milk&More. There now seem to lots of different sets of situations for many of you, so I think we have come up with the easiest solution for all.
If you haven't had the £5 credit on either your March 20 or April 20 invoice, and were eligible for the discount, then please call them on 0845 606 3606, and mention that you got the discount via MoneySavingExpert. Their customer services team will then try and sort this out for you
If you don't get a satisfactory resolution by doing this, please repost back on this thread (although we hope this will finally sort it out!).
Remember, the Terms & Conditions regarding eligibilty of this offer were:- Offer open to customers who set up a regular payment method only.
- Closing date for the promotion is 31st March 2010.
- Customers must enter promo code "MSE" before confirmation to claim £5 off first invoice.
- Only one £5 discount per household.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Very clever didn't see that!
£5 off has been applied ok but the free milk and cool bag were not honoured even though it reduced them at checkout ?!? very misleading imho...0 -

I think I'll give up on discounts advertised by MSE, things never go smoothly and it's not worth the hassle!
I ordered items worth £6.11, using the MSE code and the discount was not taken off my invoice. When I rang up to complain they said they would give me a £5 credit note, but couldn't give me a refund. I don't want to buy from them again - last time they left the milk out in the sun for hours because they didn't bother to ring the doorbell so I only found it when I went outside.
The things were more expensive than the supermarket without the discount so now I have wasted the order money plus the money taken to ring up their premium number.

Did anyone use the free £5 offer with the milkman that was advertised with Martin's deals a few weeks ago?
I used the offer, spent £4- odd and used the special code.
I have now received an email from the dairy company saying that my account will be billed.
Has anyone else had this experience?
I have cancelled the direct debit.0 -
