Why does it bother you?

Why does it bother you?
If you had a son who was still close enough to you when grown up that you wanted to kiss him and he wanted to kiss you and his partner objected would you expect them to stop?
It bothers me because he'll then turn around and kiss me so it's like I'm kissing her. :eek:
Ok he only gives her a peck on the lips, but he doesn't kiss me anymore than a couple of pecks at a time...What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

I kiss my family members on the cheek and hug them... not on the lips though. Seems a little too intimate to me.0

I think you are the one with the problem, there is a world of difference between a kiss we give to a loved one as a sign of affection and a kiss we share with a lover. Lots of people say that they kiss their children on the lips ( and I assume that to mean a peck), is there an age when they are supposed to say "no you are too old for that now", if so how sad. Would those people who think it's weird mind so much if it wasn't members of the opposite sex. I think it is awful that people could think that a mother and son being loving towards each other is more inappropriate than a mother and daughter doing so.0
