Just dropping back in to say thanks to Blue Monkey.
As you predicted I was in the wrong size! I decided to give myself an early birthday treat and got fitted in Rigby and Pellor for a couple of bras. I was so happy to finally be in the right size bra!!
Now I need to find some that suit me at a slightly lower price!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

They are very expensive, but in her opinion, worth it.
I'm going to pop in there next time I go to Bluewater, I hate non underwired bras.0 -

I would also like to thank Blue Monkey for her advice and recommendations for bras. I am now correctly fitted and look and feel much better. A big :T for her expertise.0

Hi Blue Monkey, can you advise me?
I often find wires seem to come up too high on me in the middle where they meet (an M&S fitter even commented on it).
But I only like underwired bras, hate the "Doreen" style non wired support style bras:eek:
I had a Elomi one (but ruined it in the wash), it was a fab hoister upper:)
But the wires were a little uncomfotable near the breast bone & the bottom of the U the wire did rub a little against my rib cage (I think maybe a back size smaller would stop this?).0 -

Argh, it's that M... word again.
There are lots of different styles these days MrsE and there are lots that the wire does not come up far in the middle but are not heavily padded. And Doreen is pretty is pretty much a (apologies if you wear one) 'old faithful' because people do not realise how the bra world has changed and stick to what they know.
if you want to PM me your size - and the size of Elomi you was wearing as yes, if it rubbed you need to go down a cup size - I can help you some more and find you something that you might prefer that has a lower cut centrepiece.
Seasons change, styles and shapes come and go, do you remember what Elomi one that you had?0
