Yes I would BM- I wish you lived near me. I'm getting really depressed trying to sort out bras that fit, are sexy and don't show through or look inappropriate at work. To make things worse I'm trying to match with cotton briefs and also struggle to get a style I like that would match!
    I'm thinking of a trip to R and P!

In answer to the original question I have way too many but don't think any of them fit right or look good!!

Thanks Jellie, I think I am going to go fir it then and I also might think I am going to get into as many pamper evenings as possible and do fittings to get people in the right size.

What are you wearing now Jellie, size and style , how is the fit?

Please PM me and I'll see I can help for now. You can see what details I need for a bit of a virtual fitting.

    BM x
  • hi everyone,

    just read this thread and coincidentally just got back from town after buying 2 bras, im a 40 g/h.i got measured in m and s but the only b ra they had in my size was black and the dye in black elastic always gives me a rash{ no idea why but i have very sensitve excema prone skin}
the bra was very comfortable and no wires and a good price at 16 pounds if theyd had it in white i would have bought 2
must say the lady in m and s was exceptionally helpful and measured me and was not annoyed that i left without buying anything so i might order 2 bras from there next week in white to make it up to the 4 which is really the minimum i feel i can manage with, id like more but its the cost that stops me.
    granmadelighted:)

i went to evans, they had a sale on and i bought 2 bras for 12pounds 50 pence the 2, one white one pale blueif theyd had more in my size i would have got 2 more.
i usually have 4bras ut i needed a new bra for next week as im gloing to my nephews wedding and my 4 old bras are fit for the bin only, its murder bying bras when yur bust is big but i think i was very lucky today

BM- I'm sure that if you are sensitive about how you offer and have the possibility of some privacy loads of people will jump at the chance!!
Many thanks for the offer of help. Last time I was measured I was told I was between a 34C and a 36B. I'll get a tape measure out later and try a few on to tell you how they're fitting!
Style wise I prefer balcony but I get slightly worried about anything showing through my clothes or looking inappropriate since I'm a teacher!! I'm sure there must be a bra out there which would be appropriate but sexy too!
    Will PM you later.
    Thanks for being so helpful!

It is really hard to find cotton bras - more so to find front fastening bras - so they kind of have the market cornered to be fair. These tends to be 'comfy bras' so if you want a good, well supportive cotton bra then this would be a good choice. It is very full though which can feel quite restrictive so you would need to bear this in mind.

These bras, as well as the Royce bras, do tend to give a pointy and seperated look too so also something to bear in mind too.

No trouble, I can understand that totally, email me later and we can chat some more then.

Yes, I would have a side room to do it, I just feel like I am on a mission now, LOL.

Thanks b_m. I have had these bras for years now and they are def.comfy. Don't wear low tops, so no issues with fullness of cup.
  • EBAY - you'll find loads on there and if your an unusual size you'll get em quite cheap. I'm on the other end of the scale as a 30DD/E so normal stores NEVER stock those sizes, and i can't stand to pay £25+ for just one bra...so ebay tends to be my answer. People sell the unusual sizes pretty cheap just to get rid of them and nearly all are brand new!!!

I would second Ebay ...although I am not as well endowed as some of you ladys(I am 30C) 30" back bras still seem hard to find for some reason. I just ordered a shock absorber bra for 12.99 inc postage which I think is pretty good. Its always worth a look.
JAN GC- £155.77 out of £200:D FEB GC £197.31 out of £180:o. MARCH GC - out of £200

    a fitting makes a HUGE difference! I am a size 14/16 on top and a 32J
Friends always say, there's no way you can be a 32 back. Well I haven't shoehorned myself into it, it's comfy and the support is great. Freya bras are so pretty but don't fit me, but Panache is fantastic. I do wish I could wear a backless/strapless/halterneck top though, so hard to find clothes for a night on the town!
