All of what you say is lovely, thanks.

I got three spoons of spaghetti hoops down the baby (17mths now!) and the three year old is sitting scoffing a bowl of his favourite food - chicken noodles! He eats such a rubbish diet even though I cook him lovely stuff. I guess I have to wait for him to grow out of that too!

Although - I have made some apple sauce and have promised him a bowl if he eats his noodles - fingers-crossed!!

I would love a relaxing night - preferably in the gym followed by the sauna - but hubby is working late tonight and so I have to get the boys bathed and to bed before I can clear up. ho hum...

(Plus one glass of wine might turn into several if I am not careful!!!)

  • I have only just seen this thread but I admire you KK so much, I also admire your husband for his honesty. Please do not beat yourself up regarding the children, I am positive you are a fab mum and sometimes you have to do things to get by.

I know from experiance that I get really bad days. I battled for 4.5years to get my daughter diagnosed with her illness, she was ill for years and in the end it was Cystic Fibrosis, and still now just like half an hour if I am run down or stressed and see somehting about it it makes me want to ball my eyes out.

You are an amazing woman who has done so much and will do, you will grow stronger and more able to deal with the bad days. My thoughts are with you.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave their support to us in this thread and to let you know that things are much much better for us now.

We have worked through it as best we can and although it will never leave my mind, we are still ticking along. We are actually adding to our family too and my baby is due in 7 weeks time!

So, things can and do get better. After all, it is only money! There is so much more important in life - really.

    Kat.
