Ugh, I should do something but I feel really lethargic and woolly brained. Might go and try snuggling up with a brain candy book.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Have a great time Katsu.

I hope Claire got on ok at the hospital.

  • Have been happily using a much loved Radley which was passed on to me by my daughter (cough cough.....wink wink) and did use it as an excuse to treat myself to a Radley purse and passport cover on the sale on Irish Ferries! Sadly have been too ill to travel anywhere for the last 15 months but having a glimmer of light at the end of that particular tunnel at long last! Ok, so you don't need a passport on the ferry, but at least it keeps it in a nice clean condition! lol Also got 2 Radley handbag mirrors/case on ebay and kept one , one was a gift ;). Need to watch some of the prices on there, I bought a couple of the fold up Radley shopping bags and TBH in the end the bidding price wasn't that much cheaper than buying elsewhere.

Am looking forward to moving and downsizing, selling house, paying off debts and being able to buy a new Radley without the slightest feeling of guilt lol. I have mixed feelings about the CCCS, yes they can be good and have their uses, but I have also had to deal with hassle which they should have taken off my shoulders. Have never understood why they take the money from my account on 1st of the month but don't pay my creditors until 21st! This 3-week hiatus has caused me many headaches, phone calls and demands for shortfalls, CCCS are intransigent and the last thing I need is an "advisor" with attitude, trying to lecture me on the error of my ways and my current status - I am perfectly well aware of my mistakes, effects and remedies! Can't wait to join the ranks of the Debt-free members....:)

  • Welcome Bookworm and I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.

Well done on taking the first steps, things will get easier. :)

We're always here to offer you a virtual bikkie, bar of chocolate or ear if you want to vent.

I know where you are coming from about prices spiraling out of control on ebay.

Sitting down now for the first time today! Have done three loads of washing and put most of it on the line - first time this year - yay. Pretty much dried what there was - just finishing off on the radiators.
We have also cut down (well OH) a rather large shrub - plain green and boring so have been helping to cut it up into more manageable pieces for the bag for the tip.
