    Hi all,

Hope today goes well for you Claire.
Isn't it great that the sun's shining - I'll be getting my washing out soon. Going over to see my Aunty. My dad rang me last weekend in Brussels (!!) to tell me she'd had kidney failure but was fine - how do those two statements go together?

Pepe you've just reminded me of the last time I was driving a delivery van. Asked my friend to watch me when I was reversing into a space outside the house. He did.....watched me reverse into the front of next doors car! That wasn't exactly what I'd meant.

    Morning!

I've got two essays due next week so I'm going to be working on them. I'm going to go to Starbucks where they're doing a free drink promotion and do the reading there so MSE can't distract me!

LMC your essay sounds interesting, what course are you doing?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Tonight's dinner for 10 done. :)
    Sandwiches for 40 done. :)
Need to do veg for tomorrow's lunch for 10 at some point. I must be mad. :A
I have an hour to turn myself into a glamorous granny. :rotfl:
As that clearly will never happen I will settle for a shower and hair wash.
    Whoosh.

Odd job for the day, I've just groomed my sheepskin rug with the dog brush having stuck it in the washer the other day on the wool cycle. Can't remember who suggested this but the result is brilliant. Now for the washing and baking!
  • Back from town, it's lovely outside so I've opened the windows.

Ames - I'm doing DD205, living in a globalised world. Good luck with your assignments.

Elfen - posted the dvd to you. Enjoy!

GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Just come off the phone with Halifax. Won't increase my limit by £2k so I can shift monies from expensive CC to considerably more reasonable one. What's the betting if I asked Virgin (25% APR) to re-increase my limit back up by the £3000 I've reduced it by they'd willingly do it. Annoyed. GRRRRRRRR.

Are Halifax one of those banks we saved?
