Morning Pooky,
2 of us early girls today
I've got a social thing this afternoon and evening that I've been thinking of wimping out of. I've realised that as people are relying on me I should not hide away at home but make the best of it.If I wanted to drop out I should have said ages ago.
I also need to get car insurance renewal quotes and do some housework. I also need to do some work over the weekend.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Well i am going to have the best weekend i have had for a while, been at work for the last one month, so have not seen my now 2 month old baby for half her life, going to be the opposite of money saving now, nice bottle of whisky from the airport for my collection, champagne to celebrate my return, kicks off with first flight in 6 hours.
Hope everybody else has a good one too0 -
Morning Pooky and Katsu and all that follow
Was meant to take DD to swimming lesson this morning but she has a nasty cough so prob not a good idea. She has a party this afternoon from 2-4 and will pop round to see my Dad.
Tomorrow we're taking my Mum to Highcliffe Castle for a cream tea and a walk along the beach... DD wants to fly her kite too.

Morning all. Bright here and quite mild.
Usual boring stuff for me this weekend shopping, cleaning laundry etc. Although hope to get out as a family tomorrow for a walk around a local lake.
Hope everyone has a good day/weekend.0 -
Morning! Large sausage sandwich then empty Vera the Camper of seats etc so that she can become a Removal Van to move DDs stuff into her new house.
Bit of a close-run thing as only 4 weeks to her due date, but at least she has found somewhere.:D
....and its sunny, result!:D stay wonky
:D
....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !0 -
Morning all.
Party food to make and a busy day.
Whoosh!0 -
It just got sunny here and I can feel my mood lifting :j
Now to re-rinse the washing I didn't hang the other day and put a fresh load on. Why is laundry called Hokey Cokey? Bending up and down to put it in the machine and on the line?Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Morning everyone!
I'm exhaused reading what everyone's up to this morning.
I will be walking into town in a bit to post some parcels, pick up a Radley bag and give my mum her chocolate cake for Mothers Day. As she knows I'm in debt, she doesn't expect much.
And then I need to crack on with some chores and writing an assignment - how far western cmpanies can distance themselves from social realities of sweatshops.:eek::eek::eek:
Big hugs and lots of love to you all

Everyone seems very busy this weekend, Tigz, good idea about not taking the little one with that cough.
Pepe, hope the move goes smoothly.
Have a safe journey Boozer.
Today I am off to Darlington for a wedding and staying over with OH:D
Still having a bit of a wobble about leaving the boys home alone overnight but I am sure they will be fine:o
OH thinks he is getting the flu that I had the other week so maybe the passion filled events might be replaced with him dosing up on the booze and sleeping alot, not bothered either way to be honest:rotfl:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Not a lot planned here.....need to go to the PO to collect some flowers that DD1 arranged for delivery for today (but they delivered a day early so I hope they're still ok), washing, taxi service, cook, bottle washer, usual stuff.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0
