Pint annoys me sometimes, but I annoy him just as much, but we do get on quite well...I'm clever at some things, he's clever at others, and me and he can both can cook. He's not allowed in the kitchen when I'm doing cakes, or I'll put him in the oven

Awww - it's nice that you still get that feeling.


I don't get chance to miss my DH anymore with him being here all the time....luckily we're more than happy in each others company, I know some people would have been tearing their hair out by now.

Dinner is smelling lovely, I've had a play on the wii with DD2 but she's now gone back to bed as she's feeling majorly poo....:(

Claire - I really wouldn't like any one to speak to me the way your OH does sometimes, it's not right.

Well I am stuffed! I have just been for a cream tea courtesy of my daughter. She bought me a beautiful bouquet of flower, and lots of bits and pieces and then the biggest surprise of all, a pamper day for two at a local spa facility which includes a facial, massage, pedicure and manicure as well as use of the pool, hydro pool, steam room etc.

We will spending my birthday there - which is only a couple of weeks away and it also includes a three course meal - I can't wait :j:j

I have! Chocolates, jewellery, DVD and toiletries as well, plus a helium balloon and as I walked in the room, she played Mama by the Spice Girls on CD!!

She is very thoughtful.

I agree about Pooky's family - I wish I lived nearer to you because you are an inspiriation.

I am lucky too with my daughter, she is my best friend, and as there has only ever been the two of us - her Dad walked out on me when I was pregnant - we have a really close relationship and my friends are always saying how much they envy us.

I am lucky and I know I am - I never take her for granted and with her condition I admire her more each day as I see how she perseveres through the pain
