I do, however, wonder if you're just a wee bit early to get all the fares for that route - most scheduled airlines won't release their fares until about 330 days before your travel date, which you have to bear in mind is ruled by your return date. So for the flights, if by scheduled airline, you may be worth hanging on a bit before booking.
But for your accom - as soon as you see what you like at the price you like, book it!!
cheers

hi there,
just back from 2 weeks at the Comfort Inn and it was lovely. I was really worried after reading some of the reviews but the room itself wasn't much different from the one i stayed in 4 years ago at the Double tree - except half the price!
the staff were helpful, the shuttles were free and on time, breakfast was excellent - it does get a little crowded at times but you can always eat out in the reception or by the pool.
Theres an I-Ride stop just out side or if you cross the road and walk up past the Wyndham Hotel it brings you out on International Drive by McDonalds!
hope your stay is as nice as mine!
P.s don't leave any clothes on the balcony someone nicked my bikini!!0 -
Hi there,
I'm looking to take the family to Disney for a week early next year (courtesy of Tesco so it's got to be Virgin)and as we have 2 tinies, age 3 and 4 we'd like to stay in the resort.
I was thinking of the Allstars hotels but I've read some horrendous reviews on tripadvisor, although I've also heard that the (v.much more expensive) Animal Kingdom Lodge is quite remote.
So basically, I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences of staying in a resort hotel.
Thanks in advance.I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!0 -
Rachie,
I booked last september for Feb 1/2 term this year. The prices changed almost daily for flights. I searched through www.airlinenetworks.co.uk for flights and checked the Virgin site too. Managed to get 3 Virgin flights for less than £900. I also booked accom. through airlinenetwork but car hire was cheaper through another company. I will search my posts to find.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

I stayed last year in the Pop Century and enjoyed it as a value Disney resort.
If you look at https://www.disboards.com you can find a thread on each of the Disney resorts and will find good and bad reports on them all0 -

Animal Kingdom Lodge is not remote, it is away from the other resorts, but it also has the advantage of not having to share transportation with any other resort an it is no more than an extra 5 mins than other resorts using the Disney transportation. It is also a very beautiful resort
All stars, well it is basic, but it is clean and well looked after. Alls Stars resorts are a 'value' category, whereas Animal Kingdom Lodge is a deluxe, at all stars there is not a sit down restaurant and the swimming pools do not have slides. It is sort of Travel lodge style with outdoor walkways, however it has a strong Disney feel with lots of theming.
The best way to judge is to look at the resort and the pictures of the rooms and facilities. If you go to https://www.allearsnet.com and click on accommodation then the menu along the left hand side will lead you to links to photos of the resorts all arranged by resort and they do give an accurate picture of the resorts. That is also a good site for looking at the restaurant menus that are available there as well.
I have stayed at both as although I prefer Animal Kingdom, it is more luxurious, I would be quite happy to stay at All Stars again and I am a bit of a snob!
2 other sites that you will find useful is https://www.thedibb.co.uk there are good forums there all about Disney and many experiences Disney visitors who can give you a UK perspective and for a more US based board try https://www.dis.com0 -
Anybody got any decent recommendations for Cocoa Beach? Just a 3 night stay for a couple.
