YOu may be able to use the visa waiver programme, look on the US embassy web sitre for full detials, but basically as long as you are a british citizen, and have not been arrested, and do not have a contagious disease then you don't need the visa.
Not sure where you have the idea of $100 as it is not that anyway, (but not cheap.0 -

so happy now less $200 will be spent XXX :T0 -
Is it better to book your car hire before you go to Florida, or book it when you arrive at the Airport? We are going for 16 days next year and are looking to hire a Luxury car which I could book now through Budget for £376. However I am thinking of buying the a book of Orlando money off coupons for £27 Dollars at http://orlando.entertainment.com/discount/local.shtml
This includes coupons for money off car hire from Budget and other leading car hire Companies. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
We are looking to book our disney tickets before we go and was wondering if children ever have to show proof of age when using their tickets. If not could a 10 year old get away with using a childs ticket which are for 3-9 year olds?IF THIS POST HAS BEEN HELPFUL - PLEASE CLICK ON THANKS :j0 -
the book looks tempting to me too but i can assure you that there are lots of discount vouchers in most restaurants over there for food and days out and i suspect that the book is just full of the discounts you can get for free when you are over there. fraid i cant help with the car hire i have no knowledge of what s best.0

The entertainment book is great, there are lots of discounts that are much larger than any of the discount coupons in the tourist leafflets, for example, a lot of buy one meal get one meal free coupons, for places such as McDonalds, Fudruckers, Sonic, Popyee Chicken, Dunkin Doughnuts, Coldstone Creamery and also a lot of table service resturants are also buy one entree get one free.
If you are not going until the summer wait to buy it, as the price of the book will fall in about april, usually to about $12.99, but it does vary.
Car hire is generaly better to buy over here due tot he iundurance, if you need to upgrade that can sometimes be better once you get there, if you hold out and don't take the first offer.0 -
Book your car at this end & may I suggest that you do it sooner rather than later.
The price that it is on the booking day (i.e. Today) is the price that secures the booking. With the £ being so strong against the $, you're very likely to get a stonking deal.
BUT, make sure that you don't pay for the car hire now - only six weeks before.
The price that you have quoted for 16 days seems to be a very good one. If they will allow you to secure that price NOW, but not pay for it until LATER, then I would suggest that you go for it. Also, the 'gold' cover for extra drivers/tank of fuel is well worth considering.

Thanks
I recently subscribed to the Mousesavers newletter via the mousesaver website at http://www.mousesavers.com/
There was a special link in their most recent newletter to buy your 2007 disney tickets from the Undercovertourist Website at prices that are less than if you go to the website direct or via a search engine.
The special link is:
Link deleted. Mouse savers does not authorise offers to be listed on other forums
We are buying their Ultimate 14 day tickets via this link and will save $40.00 on their already very low prices. I done a lot of checking and do not believe that you will get disney tickets cheaper anywhere else.
Thanks everyone for your replies on the car hire. :T

Thanks Terrier lady, we will now be getting the 3-9 ticket for our 10 year old too.
Another really cheap site for Disney Tickets is:
http://www.themeparkticketsdirect.com/
The 14 day ultimate ticket is only £157.00
With the current exchange rate, this is slightly cheaper that $300.00IF THIS POST HAS BEEN HELPFUL - PLEASE CLICK ON THANKS :j0
