Thanks guys, they look much more reasonable than the prices I have been finding elsewhere.

FYI. I just booked a week in a 2 BR unit at the Cypress Point resort in Lake Buena Vista for £180. Very nice resort apparently. Anyway, I gotthis from ebay.com (not .co.uk). Anyone else looking for cheap apartments/villas may want to check it out as it isn't the first place everybody thinks to look. Especially good with the £/$ exchange rate working in your favour.0

OK, this one is for anyone going to Orlando to see the mouse between 1st January and 15th February 2007. Just booked up for 5 nights at one of the all star resorts with 6 days Disney tickets for 2 adults and 1 child for £527. The thing is if you book the standard base tickets Disney are currently giving a free upgrade to flexi tickets with the water parks etc included for those dates. The only thing is you can't book it online as their website will automatically forward you to the UK site, which is nowhere near as flexible or as cheap given the weak dollar, so you have to phone on 001-407-934-7639 (I used my mobile via simply fone).0

Quick question - I probably know the answer myself but just wanted confirmation - I have the following two options
Orlando Christmas 2007 we can either go
22nd Dec - 5th January, 14 nts, cost £3000 staying in Disney
OR
26th Dec - 5th January, 11 nts, cost £2000 staying in Disney
Can't help but think that it's not worth the money for the extra 3 nts and for the sake of being there for Christmas itself. It would also give me Christmas at home then off (with wife and daughter) to Florida on Boxing Day.
As someone who hasn't been at that time of year before (and I know it will be reeallly busy but am desperate to experience Christmastime at Disney) should I push the boat out just to be there before Christmas itself.

I haven't been but I have read a fair amount about Christmas at Disney on https://www.disboards.com and if it were me, I'd go on 26 December and save the £1,000 to spend when you get there.
You'll still get the "Christmastime at Disney" feeling with all the decorations etc but you won't have the what to do on Christmas Day with all the crowds and where to eat and do we take gifts with us to open etc etc...
We were there once on 4th July and yes the fireworks are extra special but they also do them extra special on 5th and 6th July
Found this list of the parades etc and all go on until the end of December.

Have a great time what ever you decide :j0 -
