Still no email about territory yet
The person who brought the betterware brochure on Saturday has just been to collect it. Didn't even knock on the door! They'd left no info about when they were collecting so I hadn't left it out. So they just shoved a slip through saying I wasn't in and they'd be back tomorrow! Hope it rains tomorrow nowSealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Evening all
firstly would like to say - before things get too heated - Aputsiaq is a troll! So take no notice of their post.
If you look at their profile they spent a day posting lovely negative things on various posts - for the amusement of causing dissent on the thread.
Secondly - everyone is entitled to their opinion. There is no right or wrong answer to door stuffing or door knocking. It is all about what works for you, and we have had 2 lots of feedback on how both methods are successful to individuals.
So the answer is.... do what is best for you. If you are confident and happy door knocking, go for it.If you are shy and prepare to stuff and run, go for it
Either way we hope you are very successful with your Avon business and make decent money from it. :j0 -
and to everyone who will ask, today went really well at work. I had a great first day at work, I was more worried about getting ready and DS ready and getting out of the house on time then going to a new job after 2 years and meeting new people.
Think Avon has something to do with thatI was very confident, smiley, happy and talked to everyone with a big smile and a nice to meet you.
One of the Managers had just started as a rep and is selling very nicely to the office, so no sales there for me...lol
I was quite surprised though at the amount of negative comments I was getting, there is a backlog in this office, (yes I know, was told at the interview), my reply, I'm not scared of hard work and this backlog is nothing. I worked in an office where the backlog was the size of a small room.
And we took calls all day long, and our stats showed 18 waiting at any one time... me? not afraid of hard work.
But then I would get, it's not about being afraid of hard work, its the other bad stuff...
Oh well, I am nearly 40 years old, have a 2 year old DS, a very complicated life and a great source of information on MSE, so if they think they can scare me away......0 -
Good Evening everyone.
I have my first customer query and hoping one of you might have the answer.
I have been asked if I can find out which Avon products do/do not contain beeswax because a potential new customer has an allergy?
Is there any where on the net that lists the ingredients (it also has another name, can't remember what off the top of my head though) or would I be best emailing Avon. Or do any of you know which products are ok?20/01/10 Began as an Avon Representative. C4 - £156.16 :j C5 - £219.75:T0 -

Thanks to everyone for all their help with order problems. Sorry to be a pain but I have another question. Order needs to be in tomorrow night and I was attempting my first creative ordering. I have a customer ordering from C6 the Solutions am, pm and eye cream, totalling £15. However if I order from C5 the total cost is £12 plus a free toiletries bag. I have added this to my order and it is correctly showing as £12 but no entry in the stock available box, no tick, cross or yellow dot. I don't want to let this customer down as this is only my second camp and some of her order was out of stock on her first order. If there is a chance these items wont turn up I will just order from C6 as these are showing as definately in stock. Your advise would be much appreciated.0

Re - doorknocking, I dont knock - I'm a 'stuff and run'!
BUT as a mother to a 2 year old, anyone (and I mean anyone) who knocks on my door after 2.15pm gets into trouble as thats when I put my LO down for her afternoon nap. Also I have a few elderly customers who have a sleep in the afternoons and a shift worker. Hence my stuff and run attitude.
Collected in orders today. Got a customer on back brochure (C6) who ordered another eye lift that noted on her order she wasn't happy that it was only £12 in this brochure as it was £14 in the last one. Course she must have forgotten she got the free gift (lippy and mascara set if memory serves me). Feel like telling her that I will refund her the £2 if she surrenders the freebies. However, looking at next brochure, its on promo at 2 for £10 (well, one eye lift and one make up product), think its time to skip that brochure and upgrade her to the current one...Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

If very nervous, order from both then return the more expensive ones if they all arrive. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
