well done ladies on your good fortune :) am so pleased for you.

SAHM - stay at home mum

sophisoph - you can change your name on your current twitter account or tweet about being an Avon SL and change your profile details. I actually use my proper profile for competitions on twitter, so had to create a separate avon one. but it's a good idea to keep them separate.

Tip of the day: DONT give your customers nice free gifts that tie in with what they bought...... why do i say this?? In camp 5 a customer ordered 2 reversalist eye creams and her total order was £52... so since she hadnt seen camp 4 books (cos id been playing catch up) i ordered her the reversalist beauty bonus bag from camp 4 which had new reversalist night cream and a trial size serum in.... BUT it was delayed.. so id collected her c6 order before she got it and she'd ordered a Ultimate ANEW night cream at £13... then i go to deliver her order tonight and she says "my daughter doesnt want the night cream on this order now since you gave her the free one!":doh::doh: Im so stupid!! Done myself out of a £13 sale... id thought the one she ordered this time was for the customer herself as it was 50+ range so id have been ok so gave her the bonus bag still after seeing her order... but nope... so im gutted now. Thinking i wont be so generous anymore with free gifts and will stick to 99p shower gels and handcream :rotfl::rotfl:

God help me when she gets the book at the weekend and sees the clinical eye lifts at £10 with free make up item .... as ive just delivered her 2 of them from c6 at £12 each with no free make up!! I can feel another £24 worth of returns coming on... :undecided

oh johanne :( sometimes customers don't notice or just can't be bothered, so let's hope she has one of those days.

My poor customer bought a bag in C18, used it twice, the popper came right out, she eventually told me about it, contacted Avon, and it is out of stock now, so she is getting a refund of £14 instead. Avon gave me the full credit for the bag.

Oh and yes, I stick to cheap stuff! unless they spend a lot, then give them a nice gift.

If you want to give them nice stuff, do it in a prize draw.

    evening :)
I just want to say I've had a lovely conversation with my ASM on the phone and I feel quite lucky to have her there. She couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. What an absolute dear :D
Thought I'd let everyone know cause I'm a bit pleased to have her watching over my account.

I have to say I stick for the most part to cheap everyday essentials for gifts - handcreams shower gels etc, unless I've got stuff free or cheap from creative ordering then they might get some make up instead. Customers seem to appreciate it especially the ones who don't spend a great deal or know about all the work involved in being an Avon lady!
