Paid my first bill today, after seeing that it would cost me 50p i decided to do it online, not that im a tight asse or ought!!! Then thought i could use my credit card to get extra tesco clubcard points but they didnt accept them! Oh well, all paid and had better start inputting next weeks order!

I have tickets for Cranberries in concert on wed and guess what? Can't anyone to babysit -lol - so told DH to take one of his friends and go and enjoy the concert as I am not wasting the tickets.

Isn't life complicated?

Basically, this woman tracked me down through twitter, she is going on holiday to kenya and wanted SSS spray, but she kept contacting Avon to get a local rep to go and see her. They wouldn't put her in touch with anyone :huh: so she started looking through google, even though she is not on twitter or fb, so she could only see limited information, but she found me on twitter.

So she emailed to find out if I had any or could get any for tomorrow. I had a delivery tuesday and thought I had ordered it, but doh! had ordered the soft and sensual one instead.

As she was so desperate to get it for her holiday I thought I would try and if I could, then she would become a customer. As it is she has agreed that she would like to buy avon when she comes back from her holiday from me. But am so disappointed that haven't managed to get any to her.

But I have a friend who I used to work with, who needs 2 by saturday,

But cannot get anyone to look after DS and he will NOT behave so can't take him with me. So might have to make it for Monday to go and work out days, etc.

I need some new customers! I had a good campaign last campaign (£200! Not great compared to some of you, but my best yet) but there were some big orders in there and I'm thinking it won't happen again!

I'm going to ask my SL for some more territory, but in the meantime was thinking of putting some C5 books out with "10/15 % off your first order" as I was very bad with putting books out last campaign and have loads of them left!

Has anyone done this and found it to be productive? And would you suggest 10 or 15 %?

Hi Naughty, I was the same with my second campaign, did just over £230 so was convinced that my next one would be rubbish but I have found that I have naturally picked up some new customers from my territory and have managed just over £200 again this time! I too wanted some new territory and spent about a week and a half emailing my ASM to try get some but she's told me that there isn't anymore free at the moment. She is in the process of sorting the territory out finding out who's got what so fingers crossed once it's all sorted there'll be another road or two free for me!

With regard to offering a discount not sure how much you should offer but I wuld personally say that there has to be a minimum order i.e. £5 or something otherwise you might get people just ordering something for a couple of quid and once you've taken the discount off you'd be left with little commission!

Just catching up on the thread, well done on the new job aureol I hope it goes reall well:)
I have some good news and some bad. Good news is I have £502 worth of orders so far and still got some books to collect,:D bad news is I was given a new road to canvas, I double checked on the SMA it was free and it was so I used 50 current brochures left over from not signing any reps up this campaign, went back to collect them yesterday and every brochure has been taken except one that had a note saying 'this road already has a rep' to say i'm annoyed is an understatment! :mad:This rep has stolen my books and didnt have the decency just to call me and let me know, the sma says there are no reps other than me and my mum in the area so I have no idea who it was!
The staff in sainsburys must think i'm a right piggy, I've done an offer where if you spend £15 in the brochure you get a free easter egg so far I''ve bought 12 and got to go back this afternoon for another lot

Oh dear MillieCat thats not on is it? What is it with people these days that they can't just be polite and help each other out?? Its a bit pathetic stealing someones Avon books isn't it! Karma works in mysterious ways so your thief had better watch out!!!

Missythecat thanks for your newbie feedback, I've woken up this morning feeling more positive! Emailed a few friends last night asking if they'd take a browse at my books and they've all said yes so thats helped. Did tell them there was no rush though as won't be ordering until end of April but its a positive so I'm happy.

Sorry for asking a silly question but what is MOV?
