Well done Johanne :T:T:T
I need to order some samples, haven't given my customers any for AGES lol have got some outspoken ones to give out but what else do people recommend at the moment? Is the £12.50 sample pack worth investing in or should I buy separates? can order from HT10 & HT11 tomorrow xxSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
Thanks MC. Am just going to be honest with her and tell her I cannot order any more items for her unless I get cash up front or when I deliver. I just cannot afford to support anyone else.
I have a customer that ordered a lipstick and wasn't happy, it lasted 5 minutes before disappearing off her lips. So I said to her to have a look through the Avon book and choose the ones she would like to try and I would try to get samples, as they are not available for all of them. But after reading what MC wrote, might just buy full size and return ones she doesn't want to keep. Might be easier!0 -
Hi I started avon in book 9 and did really well we got orders for £377. I now have 4 streets to do but nobody seems to bothered about book 10. I have £50 of orders up to now but still have a street to collect back in tomorrow and 2 and a half streets to give books to. Just hope it picks up so i get orders of about the same value.C9 £367.75 C10 £454.19 C11 £752.71 C12 £906.46 C13 £761.34 C14 £605.590

Thanks for your advice marsdencuckoo I will bare your comments in mind.
I dropped another 15 brochures off last night to pick up tomorrow, I'm not holding my breath but....... I'm hoping someone will buy. I have 3 friends, 2 neighbours and some new territory to give a go before Thursdays order needs to be in. As it stands I'm about £23 under HOV at the moment.
Welcome to the new ladies, I'm still new myself in the Avon world but I've found all the ladies on here extremely helpful.
Also, does anyone sell on flea bay and if yes, how do you find it?
thanks0 -
On another note mega congratulations lo you LC on your achievements! Hitting PC at C13 would be fantastic! I started on C7 and hope to reach PC by the end of the C18 but now am thinking I might be able to do it earlier! I notice you had a big increase in sales between C6 and C7, any tips? You will earn 5 points for every Lotus Shield ordered from Hello Tomorrow 12 or Brochure 12
I did my first Party in C7 and I had another in C8, none in C9 have already done 1 for C10 and have another booked for Tuesday night to catch C10 orders. Have another booked for C11. Parties tend to generate £300+ sales per evening.:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -

I used to do Body Shop so have some experience with parties... how would you do your parties to grab that much in sales?

I do my parties in much the same way I imagine the body shop ones you did.
Take samples and demo items. I dont 'make up' a client, but I do encourage them to try everything. I then take orders from the brochure. I do a raffle prize too. The trick is to get a new party booking from each one and it grows from there.
I imagine that it will slow down in the summer months, but I do expect it to pick up again after September.
Good luck with it. I also buy a couple of new demo items each time from hello Tomorrow to keep things fresh for my customers. I also pick up new customers from each party.:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -
WELLLL.... That puts pay to recanvassing for a while!
I knocked a cup of tea over the laptop id borrowed off my dad. Its now broken and ive lost the last 5 months worth of avon stuff! Until my exBIL (who doesnt live in liverpool) can come down again and get everything off the motherboard for me.
Means im stuck with a computer print out of my regulars but thats it. No idea of any other addresses i.e. who is not interested or who just hasnt ordered.
Moral of the story.... DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BACKUPS IF YOU USE A COMPUTER BASED CALLING BOOK
i have 100 shrinkwrapped and 100 other c8 books i needed to put out today to make final use of them.. oh well £11 at least wasted.
Moral of the story.... WHEN YOU PLAN TO RECANVASS SO BUY EXTRA BOOKS - DO IT ASAP.. COS YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.
off to kick myself harshly and then try figure some kinda plan out...0 -

do you have a script or anything you use?? Im really shy and wouldnt know how to start with a party thing.... plus i dont have any female friends so would probably be thrown straight in at the deep end with strangers.. but parties does seem a good route to go down..0
