Took my C10s out and rest of C9s last night. 27 brochures in all. I decided to leave the houses out who haven't ordered in the last 3 campaigns or who haven't returned a brochure. I've tried to encourage customers by reminding them that they can try something and always send it back if it doesn't suit them. Hopefully they'll order and decide it does! Going to collect them on Monday so we'll see.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

Only concern I have, a friend is buying Avon from me and keeps saying I can't pay you for it all in one go, will pay you bits and pieces. Fine I said, she was supposed to give me some money last week, turns out she couldn't and now she wants me to order more stuff but won't be able to pay me for a while. Am going to have to explain to her I can't pay for her orders, I don't earn enough discount to do that, and the discount I am earning needs to pay my bills, I am currently working 7 days and it is not easy for me.
Difficult situation but unless you're certain of getting your money then I always work to 'no money/no goods'. Hard to call sometimes (especially with friends) but think of yourself/family. You may be doing your friend a favour by saying if she can't afford it now then wait..... who knows, it may be at a better price when she can afford it!
Good luck.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Think it's always worth reminding customers about the 90 day refund 'rule'. I thought most of my regulars were quite 'switched on' but only last week one was in a quandary whether to order the fitflops or not but when I told her she could try them and send them back after a 'short while' if she didn't like them she was well chuffed. Equally, last campaign another customer wanted the nearest match for her favourite lipstick (not Avon). Difficult to tell from the brochure so I suggested she order 'a few' - she ordered 3 (and I know this goes against what I've just said above re. 'no money/no goods' but she's a safe case) and rather than make her pay for them, I let her try them out over the w/e and told her I'd collect the monies/lippies she didn't want when I collected the brochure/next order. Turned out she kept all three and ever since has put the cash in with her orders..... Result! :TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Wish I'd done that MC instead of supplying samples. Got customer around 5 colours and still no order. She says she doesn't use it often so guess the samples will last her about 5 years! Doh - should have thought it through before jumping in!Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Ladies that are asking about the starter bag, if you have just signed up,you may qualify for the Smart Start that Avon are currently promoting.
On your 1st Campaign, if you hit High Order Value £148 - you will qualify for make up samples or a full size anew product.
On your 2nd Campaign, if you hit HOV - you will qualify for make up samples or mixed samples
On your 3rd and 4th Campaigns, if you hit HOV - you will qualify for skincare samples and Avon Organiser Folder and Pen set
On your 5th and 6th Campaigns, if you hit HOV - you will qualify for fragrance samples and Avon Vanity Bag
and for the Superstars (their words) - reach total sales of £1500 or more by placing a regular order in all 6 campaigns and receive an amazing demonstration bag.
So I would say don't rush to buy the bag at £10, you may qualify for it through your campaigns. And as for samples, why not ask your SL/ASM if they have any they can give you, saves you buying them just yet.0
