Hey
I just have microsoft works word processor. But it will work with any word or office programme
Open a new blank document.
Click on file, then drop down to page set up
change the size of your page my measuring the actual order form.
Measure in to your contact and message box at the top of the form and use this for the margins. remember to adjust the size at the top and bottom and the footers at top and bottom too.
Enter some sample text and print it out on a normal sheet of A4 at first. Overlay on an order form to see if you are happy with the layout. Tweak the spacing at this point.
Keep printing out and overlaying until you are happy then drop in your order forms and hit print. Save the document as order template or something and then every camp you can just change the text as you need to.
Easy really, just a faff! I just use the stamp for the back of my brochures now.
Happy days.
Does it actually print through to the carbonised copy?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

No, only does the top sheet, but if you keep the top copy for your records and hand back the carbonised one, do they really need all that on their copy which usually goes straight in the bin with the Avon bag?
Saves so much time and does look really really tidy. You can get more of a message on there too.:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -

as long as you are happy and enjoy the night, that is all that really matters. Just my thoughts on maximising your sales thats all.
Im sure it will all go fine.:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -
Thanks for your help ladies, missythecat i think you're right about the samples. I'm more than happy with the free gift though so that's fine.
My order has arrived minus 2 items that they say are currently out of stock, one is anew concealer and the other the oasis bangle watch. Do we have any idea as to when they will arrive or will it be with the next order? :think:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi... me again!
As its my first delivery I'm unsure whether to just go around to the customers homes and hope they're in and have the money or should I put a note through the door and go back tomorrow??
What does everyone else do? I know there are a few in as I can see from my window (no I'm not a stalker :rotfl:).
Gingernights I'm a newbie so not able to give you any advice although I'd be interested in the avons friend forum is it on here somewhere or separate to this one?
As others have said, some reps work on a system of dropping a note in confirming that your order (£.....) will be delivered on ......day between ... a/pm and ....a/pm and pls contact me if not convenient. (Does make deliveries quicker and chances are they will have the correct amount ready and waiting.) Others just try and deliver when best for us and gradually learn when our customers are in.
Totally up to you.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Suppose you're right; it's not easy to read the carbonised copy anyway. I tend to use the copy as a delivery note and keep the top copy for my files, albeit my SL wonders why I bother. (Am a natural hoarder and thought maybe she was right until I had a few returns, in which case a copy of the customer copy is invaluable.)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Sort out the smallest or most obvious orders first (ie those with things like flip flops or clothing only) then work on to the larger ones. That way you have less to rummage through when you get to the larger orders.
Check items against your invoice as you fill each order.
Have the relevant brochures to hand as you can spend hours looking for the wrong thing
If you can't find an item, don't spend ages looking but put that order to one side - you're bound to come across the item by accident sooner or later.
When ticking off the invoice, in the case of multiple items, tick once for each one found then cross out the number when you've found the lot.
HTH
Interesting to see how different people deal with their orders.
I empty all the boxes onto the floor, grouping products together, and check them off against the invoice. In my first couple of orders I did get a couple of items confused so after 'picking' the order I still lay all the order forms out and put the products on top of each order form until I'm sure everyone's got what they ordered and only then do I start to pack/bag the orders up.
Got to admit I very rarely check the invoice against customer order prices..... Hmmm... maybe I need to do that too!:cool:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

you also need a copy for your accounts. HMIR told me that they are classed as sale dockets and therefore prove sales.

I ordered pre printed labels from Winksters, 210 for £2. I stick them on the top copy, i record all orders on excel but then i keep the bottom copy and the customer has top copy back with my details if they need to contact me. Otherwise the customer may want to add to their order or have a query at a time when they dont have a book.C7 - 221.05 :j C8 - 308.07 :j C9 - 250.84 :j C10 - £525.25 :j:j C11 - £467.91 :j C12 - 491.44 :j C13 - £442.09 :j C14 - £357.95 :j0
