:mad: Now I am really annoyed. I did another of the streets the area rep gave me, and I got another phone call from another woman saying she'd been doing those streets for 6 years. So that's another 40 brochures put out that'll still need collecting for absolutely nothing :mad:

I'm waiting to phone her, because if I call her now I will be less than polite.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

I was doing my sales and purchases on 2 different sheets but after going on the HMRC course on tues, they used an example of it all on one sheet, so will try and do the way they have done it!
I have got 3 spreadsheets. 1 for sales, 1 for invoices, and 1 that combines the 2. I am guessing that the 1 that combines the 2 will be adequate for tax purposes (although as I say I am waiting to go on the HMRC course). The other 2 are more for my benefit in terms of understanding my 'business'.

I just keep mine as paperwork - I make a note on my invoices of items I ordered for myself, freebies etc that I won't have earnt anything from but would just be costs, then I jot down returns on them as I get them, I have a folder for my receipts to go into - might get myself a ledger book at some point to make it more organised, but I did ok doing my return this year, albeit it was only for about 3 campaigns!

a question...how is it going to confuse the situation when you have done a credit but the it recharges...i ahev a few of these :) is it going to make working out the end result harder?

I assume you mean when you've been recharged as you haven't returned the product (ie managed to deliver / sell to someone else) rather than being recharged in error.

I'd just add it onto your paperwork same as you usualy would, making a note of your earnings from each item, as I think when you are recharged it is only shown as the cost, and no indication of the earnings from what I remember.

I have had exactly the same problem - I was given 4 lots of territory and it was all already being covered.
I ended up going door knocking to find some free territory myself and then e-mailed my area manager telling her this was the area i wanted lol!

  • I just try to keep it as simple as poss, income and expenditure, they seem to accept it the way I do it thank god :)
  • Hi everyone I am a new Avon rep and have just stumbled across this forum which I think is so great! I love some of the tips and advice you girls give out and will definately be using some of them with my customers.

I wonder if any of the more experienced reps can help me? My step mum is already my best customer and has asked me to try and find her a match for a lipstick she used to wear to death a few years ago. It is called Pinkabulus and she said it was a Colorstay lipstick. Does this ring any bells with anyone? I'm just trying to work out what the closest match would be but without the original lipstick this is an impossible task!

    Hi Ladies,

Just running my first campaing. I joined very late in the day so have been given the chance to order a bit later. I have gotten 3 orders so far - from my mother-in-law and from a work colleague but am not deterred. Had about a week for my campaign so hoping for better for my next one. I want to move a bit fast-tracke'ly so want to be an SL,hopefully I can put in the hard work!!

Anyway, can any of you lovely ladies tell me if Avon still do this silicone handcream? My work colleague asked me for this and says she used to order it but it's not in the braochure? How do I find it please? Thanks and this board is such great help for starters like me!
