Well had a very strange week with my customers all changing about!

    So far had:

1 tell me shes not living in her house anymore so will call in to collect her order - gutted as prob wont want books anymore
2 tell me they are on holiday for a month or so and dont want books in that time - :(
2 tell me they have friends who live on my territory who didnt want books but have now lost their reps so want me to call on them
1 customer just told me shes signed up as a rep herself today!

She told me my ASM signed her up.. and has completely confused her and roped her into being a SL already by sounds of it as ASM is picking her up to go recruiting her first 5 reps on tuesday! Poor girl hasnt got a clue how to be a rep yet didnt know about entering orders, fixed discount or anything... doesnt know how any of it works.. and is horrified to be told shes supposed to register as self employed as she wasnt told this!!!! *rolls eyes*

I was really really really nice *rolls eyes* and said id help her out with anything shes confused on (shes only doing f+f and promised not to go near my territory) ... but i also covered my own back and told her that IF it doesnt work out for her to give me a call and i'll take on her customers.... if she gets me the orders, and delivers them etc i'll give her 20% "commission" ;) She'll still get majority of her commission without the paperwork/self employment side! I'll get higher sales figures and 5% commission which will cover my books/bags/time bagging for them orders. :) her and her mum told me i was a good business woman.. haha!!! ;)

lucyclare, your flyer on the SSS bug spray, did you put that together yourself or is it something that Avon is doing?

I actually got it sent to me. But there were a few spelling mistakes and there was no product code on it. Now, Ive not been with Avon for long, but i have noticed, that its not often the product code changes.

This way, in C9, where it is not at all prominent, the customer can order the correct one.

    Here it is.
USE’S FOR AVON’S SKIN SO SOFT CODE 06700
These are tips and idea’s from customers who have used Skin So Soft Dry Oil Body spray (Soft and Fresh only)
    1It’s a Bath Oil

3 It can be used to remove make up
    4 It’s a suntan oil (No SPF)
5 Pour into the water of your foot spa to moisturise your feet
6 It’s a hot oil treatment to soften nails
7 It’s a good massage oil for those overworked, sore
    muscles
8 It’s a good insect repellent for humans and animals
9 It helps relieve itching caused by insect bites and dry skin
10 Sponge around the doors and windows to keep crawling
    Bugs, flies and mosquito’s out
11 It’s a good wood cleaner, conditioner and polish for
    Natural Wood
12 It removes chewing gum from hair, skin and most non
    porous surfaces
13 It removes glue and gum left from price tags and labels,
From glass, metal and most plastics, EVEN carpets
14 It cleans tape marks left from plasters on the skin

    Damaging the paint finish

That won’t go together as easily as the used to
21 It removes paint and stains from skin - much gentler
    Than turpentine
22 It cleans paint brushes easily and leaves them as soft
    As ever
23 It cuts grease and dirt from range hoods
24 It removes candle wax from furniture, carpets and
    Clothing
25 It removes scuff marks from patent leather shoes

29 Wipe down vinyl surfaces inside your car. Cleans
Them nicely, and removes any smoking odours
30 Extra benefit - while using it clean, etc, it leaves your
Hands soft and smooth - unlike other harsh cleaners
31 Fleas on animals? Use ½ oz of SSS mixed with 16oz
Of water. Spray or bath the animal. It also leaves their
    Coat soft and silky.
NOW WITH ALL THESE USES, SHOULD YOU EVER BE WITHOUT YOUR SKIN SO SOFT?
These are not endorsed by Avon, but tips gathered
    From Avon customers

It is four to a page, double sided. have now managed to resave it as a word document. So if you couldnt open the word processing one, this one might work for you.:D:D:D:D

Well done Lozza on the greenhouse, hope you have lots of lovely veggies, etc.

I found more expired brochures! I really need to sit down and get them prepped and put out - with summer coming up, might be able to get a rep out of them.

    Hi Ladies,
?Just had some discouragement from a lady.........

Just went out to collect the brochures I took round on thursday and saw a woman outside the first house. I asked her if she was interested in anything in the brochure I put through her door she said No and that she does Avon herself. She then went on to say (after I said I just started) she's only done it for three months but was thinking of 'packing it in' as it was too difficult in terms of bringing the money in. She then went on to say that road has an Avon rep working on it who's been doing it for years and years........ I guess I need to tell SL that area is taken.
I just think cos I have just started, I could really have done without the discouragement!!:(:(

On the 1st road I was given there was a F&F rep who had been doing it for years but didn't actually bother canvassing her own road. I have several regular customers along the road who all place good size orders. It also meant that my ASM was more willing to give me extra territory - I got a really good road that has lots of lovely customers in it. So don't be too discouraged - it might all work out for the best.
Just because it was too difficult for her doesn't mean it will be that way for you. She might have other commitments that make it difficult. You may be more organised/more enthusiastic/etc that it means it works for you in a way that it didn't for her.
