It's not a FINE, it's an invoice.
Please read all the threads and stikies on here that deal with private parking companies and you see that you do not have to pay. Simple as that. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
had to join so I could post comment on MET new letter number 5 - it is from Debt Recovery Plus and the second paragraph reads 'As a member of the BPA and its AOS we adhere to its code of practice'. I would have thought it was their client MET who are the member not DRP?0

Just to let you know I have had the 6 parking fine letters - the last 4 from newlyn
My Husband has been contacted today on the telephone by Newlyn wanting to know if he has had the letter and why payment has not been made.
The phone call is not mentioned on the first page of this sticky
Is this something new?
Any advice how to deal with the phone call?0 -
Phone calls from these clowns do occur sometimes. If they call again tell them the debt is denied and any further calls will be regarded as harassment and reported to the appropriate authorities. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

many thanks for your help and advice
I just wish they would ring me up and not OH at work - he has a panic everytime a letter comes
He would have paid the fine at the beginning so I hope nothing goes wrong as I will be in trouble lol0 -

Yes, please scan it in or take a digital photo of your letters (blank out ID) and send a pm to Crabman so you can be the first to post the C2C letter-chain.
Apart from that ignore it and please no questions here as this thread is just for letters. We would be very pleased to add C2C to the hall of shame.
Start your own thread if you still have any questions after reading the stickies at the top of the forum, watching the Watchdog video with the paper aeroplane and reading lots of other threads of people with fake PCNs like yours. The info is all in our stickies so TBH starting a new thread is usually a bit pointless once you have read them. But do so if it makes you feel better to read 'ignore' repeated several times!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes ignore ! As Coupon says aboveExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
